Strangely enough, the voice didn't sound quite human.
It reviberated off the walls, and seemed to fill the cold room, choking you.

It was then that you noticed the guard's eyes had turned a dark, bloody red.

A stone of the same red as the eyes of the guards sparkled darkly in HIS hand.
No response.
"An interesting gadget indeed."
"Let's see what else it can do..."

For simplecity's sake, and because the Roleplayer is too busy finding memory-erasing pills to fully exercise her creativity, let's just say that our favorite child prodigy was busy making a reputation for herself and somehow managed to evade the other characters.

An interesting first day. She always enjoyed surprising the other students with her disregard for rules outside of the classroom. A general rundown of the day would be wake up early, run the roofs, impress the teachers, prank a poor student, and meet the Athena Fan Club. (Kendo's got to have a rival. ;p)

Anyways, morning came and guess what? Athena had already chosen her favourite spot in the whole school, and surprise surprise, it was on the roof next to a chimney, naturally partially concealed. A few charms and it was hers.

She now sat there cross-legged, observing the coming-and-goings of a few early risers.

Description: Fairly tall, with her trademark "frost princess" look. (Yes, I named it.) Frost blue eyes flecked with sparkling silver, light blonde hair. Wears ridiculously glamorous dresses, but is known to complain quite profoundly about them. Owns a wardrobe of much lighter casual wear, which are mysteriously used... Tighter clothing is chosen for circumstances.
Personality: Always the impressor to adults, but much less rule-abiding outside of the classroom. Friendly, easy-going, relaxed, not what you'd expect of someone with her reputation.
House: Phoenix (If all had gone naturally, she would have been in Siren. Many suspect her mother of pushing her into the house she is in.)

There was a thinly veiled bite in the words.

He was doing her a favour freeing her of her sparkly prison.
He seemed to want to put her in a less sparkly one.
But however worse he claimed his prison to be, to her it was heaven.
Or it should have been heaven.

He was too late.
No hero could rescue her now.
No evil could harm her now.
She was gone.

The scream revibrated through the halls as the potion's effects finally wore off.
It was answered with a series of shouted orders and marching feet.

"Wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh..."
"Wh-h-h-hat are y-y-you d-d-d-doing h-h-here..."

The portal had closed.
The princess was safely delivered, but he'd lost his only means of quick escape.

You have temporarily defeated the guards.
But escape will be harder.
The palace is under lockdown.
No one can enter or exit.

The guards moved into the garden.
Spell detectors in hand.
Scanning every nook and cranny.
So far the potion had held.
So far.

The princess was even prettier than he'd imagined!
She was the most perfect being alive.
And to think he was here to kidnap her.
He couldn't, could he?

But it was his life on the line after all.
And Chris was no hero.

A rope lashed out.
She saw it.
She didn't move.
It caught her wings.
It wrapped itself around her.

Then a gust of wind pushed her into an open portal.

So there was someone after all.
