edit: i clicked on the small cloudflare link at the bottom of the error page i got when i tried to post it with code block, and i got this

(sorry this looks so weird, it's like super long (nearly 3k characters (that's also why i asked if there's a character limit in the forum 😅)) so i had to paste it into word and take several screenshots and put them together)

here's the thing

i know there's a lot of pd image links so i took all (i think) of them out and just wrote pd instead but that didn't fix it either sadly
i also tried taking out the alt + 12 female sign but that also didn't fix it (i just saw it says :female_sign: in the screenshot, that's cause i pasted it to discord so i wouldn't lose the whole thing and discord converted ♀ to that)
oh also i had the price chart and the form in spoiler tags, but i took them out cause i had trouble opening spoilers in another forum, but that didn't fix it either, and i forgot to put them back in again before taking the screenshot lol
(also i know it's a bit all over the place esp with text sizes 😅 wanted to work on it a bit later again)

my vpn is off and im in a place with generally good internet and there's not much strain on our internet rn
i do have a lot of tabs open but i was able to create this thread here which confuses me even more
i used a lot of staticpokeheroes images in the first version of the gts thread, but i took most of them out in hopes of me just having used too many images/bbc codes, but either i still have too many bbc codes or i did something else wrong cause i just got the same error message
tbh im at a loss 🤷‍♀️
maybe there's a character limit on forum posts? it was a rather long thing in the end with the bbc codes

i didn't even know there were different sprites for different genders lol
the genderneutral sprite looks a lot like just some generic guy so i thought that just was the sprite for everyone lol
i'd much appreciate that tbh
it wouldn't even have to be too fancy differences imo, a simple colour choice for skin, hair, etc might be a good start (so noone'd even have to draw/make new stuff, just change the colours of the existing stuff)

(i just tested it out and the genderneutral sprite is just the guy sprite - maybe a choice for people who have their gender set to other whether they want the generic guy or the generic girl sprite? ~~or a different sprite altogether?~~)

bit of a stupid question:
i know mega-able chance doesn't increase with a pokeradar chain
but should i still turn on my pokeradar if im trying to hunt a mega-able non-shiny?
i mean im going to hatch a lot of these mons anyways, might as well try a shiny chain?
then again it's 50k pd and i wouldn't be able to hatch anything else in the meantime
i can't decide, i know it's not much of a question but i can't decide, what do you think is better?

edit: got an actual question too: in the little notification box where it says a mon hatched, does it say if it's shiny or not? i haven't hatched a shiny in so long i forgot xD

i've been trying to update a custom panel on my profile, and i got over the 2000 character limit (noticable by not being able to type anything anymore until something else was taken out)
so i took out a part and finished typing and ended up pretty much right under the 2000 character limit (started another sentence but it capped three words in so i just deleted those)
but when i tried to save it it said i was over the 2000 character limit
so i copy-pasted the text into word and checked that character count and it was below 2000
i tried taking out a couple words and at one point took out all emojis in case those were the issue, and im at 1944 characters right now, but it still won't let me save the panel because it says im over 2000 characters
to make it clear again: there are no emojis in the text anymore and i am definitely below the character limit rn
how do i save the panel?

in a dark purple (i'll try to find a hex code if you want) instead of black,
1 shiny charmeleon

with the #FFFF75 yellow instead of orange-gold(, about between the two charizards in height maybe? <- this is optional) ((it would be hilarious if it wore socks, or maybe a sock on its horn? xD )
1 charmander

in red and black
1 charmander

in green and/or blue, as well as purple (maybe turquoise and purple work?) (edit: turquoise very much works for "green and/or blue" ^^ so turquoise instead of green/blue ^^ )

in bright purple and this weird blue?? or whatever colour that is: #233C4E

Payment (set a range, pick exact price after I'm finished): i'd say approx 450k (cause 8 mons, 8*50=400k plus 50k cause your art is amazing), but i only have half of that rn, but i will pay, im saving up for it rn :D

for people who want to finish all their dexes, including their retro dex, or who just plain want to collect the or some retros, or one pokemon in all its variations, this is an amazing idea!

if you personally don't care much for retros then that's fine, but in my opinion entirely unobtainable pokemon shouldn't exist; it's just not fair at all to people who started after they became unobtainable
(this isn't even about prices of pokemon, because people also won't really sell unbreedable unobtainable pokemon that much unless they somehow got plenty of them when they were available, and even if, it wouldn't be enough for everyone on this site to get one as far as i know (and even if, eventually people would run out of those unobtainable unbreedable mons anyways cause new people signed up for the site)
so it just really isn't fair to have unobtainable pokemon)
old event mons are also obtainable for new users eventually via event shop (or people breeding them)

(fyi retro starters can't evolve, so the retro starter tickets would not become useless if the evolutions were made obtainable again, as was mentioned above)
