Laura noticed Shine offering his ice cream to Kuro. "Last time I saw you, you acted like a spoiled child... maybe Purple and Kuro are good influences on you." She said.
Victor decided not to comment on Shine's new friend. He decided to divert the topic instead. "Let's see... I lost my entire rare candy stash in Alola thanks to Sirius, who then proceeded to wreck Mira's boat." He remembered quickly.

Laura ordered some Pokemon-compatible food for Victor's Pokemon out of their Pokeball at the time: Scarlet, Volt, Blaze and Shine.
"Laura I think you'll spoil them..." Victor said, after seeing Scarlet beginning to eat an ice-cream.
"You don’t let aunt Laura buy us treats often! Last time we had one was months ago!" Scarlet protested.

Shine nuzzled happily on Kuro and offered the Dragonair some of his ice cream.
