In the corner of his eye, Elehah saw a newcomer in the entrance of the tavern awkwardly standing. Immediately, his eyes narrowed. There was a weird kind of off-ness in her appearance, as if.. it wasn't exactly complete.

From his years of doctor's experience, his instinct tells him that what the girl looks like right now, isn't all what's there on the surface.

But as it was none of his business, and he couldn't just straight up ask a stranger their secrets, Elehah decided to put this matter aside, and reil in his curiosity and looked away. If he had a chance to ask in the future, he would. But now.. unfortunately wasn't the time.

Elehah completely ignored any jabbings from the clearly inexperienced little girl who seems way to confident in their own abilities that they consider anyone above in status from her an egoistic being, considering how she can't seem to take a simple idea or suggestion from someone else.

How naive of her, when in reality, she is the actual stuck up one.

Elehah rolled his eyes secretly, he should remain patient and not blow off steam on a young girl. That would extremely immature of him.

Instead Elehah watched the scene infront of him with an interesting tilt of his head. "Pardon me, I'm new to this part of the city, thus I'm not all familiar with the situation here." Though Elehah sounded like he was apologizing, perhaps it was just his tone, or blunt expression, he didn't really seem to blame himself.

But seeing how experienced the Royal Guard was, Elehah made a mental note to respect the guy further in the future.

Elehah calmly sat up, his hand checking his pulse.

"Perhaps. Rather than wasting time knocking a lacky out and being impatient, why not take him for interrogation? Afterall, they must have a goal coming this far, and dispatching this many men."

Elehah looked at the Royal Guard and tilted his head calmly with a smirk.

"Did I get it right General?"

There were many piercing eyes staring at the group in the sidelines within the tavern.

Elehah nodded curtly, he understood this fact very well. Sometimes when fear comes into the body, everything just seems to freeze, including yourself.

That is why, it was so important for people to keep their cool and composure, or else accidents like this could happen.

In abit of a daze, Elehah simply chugged down the glass of alcohol. The liquid seemed to burn as if flowed down his throat, but at the same time, it cleared his mind. Right, he shouldn't get to involved with the people here, and keep his distance.

Definitely, keep his distance.

Perhaps it was because his profession was a doctor, Elehah can't help but take a sweeping glance at everyone's body with a piercing gaze. Before his eyes stopped at the bandaged hand of the Royal Guard Captain.

"3rd Degree burn, and scarring. Or.. perhaps poison that erodes skin."

He said simply, as he lifted his cold eyes and stared at the Royal Guards face.

"It's one of the two, am I right?"

Even though Elehah asked for confirmation, he seems confident of his answer that he is just asking for confirmation just to be polite. This is what years of experience in his field does for him. Sometimes these wounds, all it takes is for a specialized expert to take a glance to know the answer.

And Elehah.. is far more than just a simple specialized expert. It would be humiliating to even group him together with those people.

Soon after, Elehah Relbit, the renowned Devils doctor had arrived. He stared at the bussiling tavern in a faint distaste before nodding at the Royal Guard and taking a seat in one of the empty tables. The tavern itself wasn't hard to find, but to find time in his schedule was a different battle completely.

Elehah sat down in silence completely ignored Freyr and the others as if he was just simply air.

Or perhaps he just doesn't see himself the same as other people.

Who knows what Elehah is thinking, but if there is one fact that can stand above all, is that his skills is something that people would kill to get ahold of. So it was natural he may be late, afterall, he is a busy man.

Soel stared dumbfounded at both the arrowhead that was pointed towards him, and Atticus who was about to throw a rock at him.

A rock.

Why a rock of all things?! Even a knife would save Soel abit of humility.

Soel groaned, and brushed his dark brown hair back. The absurdity of this situation was slowly getting out of his hands. He hated it.

"Atticus. A rock? Really? I never knew an Elderly who liked to throw rocks at people younger than them. Also-" Soel turned his head to Shirin, irked. "You! You literally scammed me a total of 105 gold coins that one time when I genuinely needed your help! 105 gold coins!!! Do you know how hard it is to earn money these days!?"

Soel felt that he was terribly wronged. What did he do to deserve this treatment! Not only did he get scammed out of his money a couple of months ago, but now his humility is going to disappear by a simple rock!

	Soo-ah followed Kinoko, and soon stopped. She curiously peaked at Kinoko who fell face flat on the grass, not sitting up, before staring at the professor who summoned the stick. "Oh.. Oh! Soo-ah stood there gaping for a moment, before she immediately when to chase.

"KO! THAT AIN'T FAIR! C'MERE! COME BACK!"

Soo-ah sped down the hallway as she yelled, with no care for the passing students who were looking at them weirdly. Sure Kinoko was fast, but if there was one difference, it was that Soo-ah was known for her speed back in the streets. If there were thieves running around, even they couldn't escape from Soo-ah's criminal fast clutches that were worse than the police.

"Y'know what they called me back in the old times? THEY CALLED ME THE GHOST OF THE BACKSTREETS HEHEHEHEH" Soo-ah crackled evilly, and sped up, quickly catching up to Kinoko.

Soo-ah sighs, as if she was aging 10 years in one day, before turning her head to Kinoko, debating whether she should drag the other across the hallway or not.

"Nono, that should be my last resort.. since when have I become so violent!" Soo-ah tilted her head on her hand as she languish about her current predicament. She is getting way to buddybuddy with her classmates this year, and her classmates are getting way to comfortable with her..

What can she do to change that hmmm...

Shaking her head, deciding to think about that matter for a later time, she grabbed Kinoko by the arm and grins mischievously.

"Ko, let's make a deal.. It's either you go to class on your own two feets, or i'll carry you! Heh" Soo-ah crackled.

Soel's eyebrow scrunched up when he heard Shirin's ridiculous comment. He and Atticus? Never in a million years.

"I feel like every time we face off, Shirin, your claims just get more and more ridiculous. What was it you said last time? About how one of us is going to get rabies soon or something?" Soel scoffed. "That could have happened, but this? You've gotten rusty it seem."

There was a soft thump when he was just rudely dropped on the ground. But this time, there wasn't a single groan that came out of Soel's mouth.

Unlike a certain someone who came unprepared with not enough colors to fuel themselves. Soel made sure to go to the beach earlier and bask in plenty of sunlight to store energy just in case they pull a trick of trapping him in the darkness.

Like right now.

Though the healing speed wasn't as fast as it were in the sunlight, it was definitely healing. Soel could feel his brain matters sticking back together, and the wound on his head slowly, but surely heal.

On the opposite end though, it seems like Atticus didn't have as good as a time as he did.

Soo-ah stood next to Kinoko shaking her head with her arms crossed. What in the world is Kinoko planning? Soo-ah already had some ideas.

Is it a good plan? Soo-ah has some doubts.

But unfortunately, they aren't close enough for her to advice her of her personal matters. The most she could do is to ask her if she was sure.

"..Hey Ko, you sure it's a good idea? What did I tell ya, for you to think it through."

Soel slowly blinked his eyes open, and frowned. He can vividly feel the wound on his head draining the living blood out of him.

He groan softly from the pain, as his eyes slowly started to clear up. Why was he in Atticus's arm? Soel didn't remember much except from the last moment when Shirin just suddenly popped out and created a wound on his head, coincidentally knocking him out.

Wait, did they finally figure it out?

Soel huffed out a laugh, despite being held in the arms of his enemy. He looked at the both of them in front of him, wondering where in the literal fxck is Mew.

As much as Soel hated playing 2v1, it wasn't as if he could even stop Mew from doing what she wanted. At best, he could only pity Atticus for having to deal with the two of them at the same time.

"Truly, it's a pity."

Soel remarked as he slightly turned his body sideways, as he dodged the hand that was coming straight towards him, and instead grabbed it by the arm and flipped Atticus over with an overhead throw, pinning the other person down, despite the fact that Atticus could use this moment to squeeze the living colors out of him.

	Soel stretched lazily beneath the sunlight, the previous knife wound on his neck quickly disappears. If anything, Soel looked more healthy and nourished than before. " Yea right. Even if he stabbed me 100 times, I still wouldn't die." Soel rebucked, and just watched the two went for tit for tat leisurely. [Read more]
