After Ateer's Pokemon are healed he decides to head off into the forest to sleep. He walked to the edge of Viridian and checked around for other people. When he didn't notice anybody he spread out his wings and took off into the air. He flew into Viridian forest, keeping below the canopy. He flew around for a bit until he found a tree that was large enough to support him. He landed in its branches and tucked his wings in slightly and started to drift off into sleep.

(Just made up a random name for Ateer's older brother, but I won't be bringing him in, I just wanted to give him a name.)
Cole looked back, he had been looking off into the woods. "I'm from the same pack as Ateer, my father was his father's most trusted advisor, and one of the best fighters in the pack. We were raised together since our fathers were both such high ranking. We became best friends, and when Hoku chased Ateer from the pack, I chose to stick with Ateer. I couldn't leave my best friend out for dead."

"As I have said before, I am Ateer and this is my friend Cole. You were right earlier, we came from the dominant pack from the other side of the mountain. My father was the leader up until a few moons ago. Then my brother took command and chased me out, fearing I would try to usurp him. Cole chose to leave the pack an stay at my side. We want to thank you for letting us rest here. I wanted to know if perhaps we could join your pack. We will obviously help, I'm a skilled hunter and Cole is quite a strong fighter."

Two wolves walked through the forest, constantly checking behind them for enemies. They were both panting heavily since they'd been on the run several days now. They finally stopped when the smaller of the two collapsed from exhaustion. The larger wolf looked back and whined, "We have to keep going Ateer or they'll catch us."

"I know, but I can't, I'm exhausted." The smaller wolf said, laying on his side, panting heavily.

He's protective of those he cares about and is incredibly loyal to his friends.

We were...umm, here for a festival, and we kinda got separated from there and, the festival was in Johto, but I somehow ended up here and yeah, that's it." Arka sighed at his partner's terrible lie.
