Ah, the Royal Family, eternal rulers beloved by the people of Eterilla!

For centuries, no, eternity, the Royal Family has ruled over the beautiful land of Eterilla.
They have ensured our kingdom properous and bountiful.
They have kept us safe.
They are good, fair and generous.

Are they not?

You are a member of the royal family.
Will you continue the traditions, curse the new, protect the old?
Or will you invent, innovate, create a new future?

Keep in mind, you are being watched.
Your every move is being evaluated.
One slip, and it may cost you your position in the Family forever.

No pressure.

These are the guidelines you have been taught since youth.
Ensure you follow them at all times.

The Roleplayer was slightly rushed in the making of this post, she is extremely sorry for not having time to carefully read through all prior posts.

Athena preferred to stay in a corner. Watch as the misery and chaos unfolded. She really didn't care much for who died, who got voted out, anything of the sort. It didn't matter anymore. Her life was lived and failed, and she didn't know why she was here anyways. She had no "Desire" whatsoever to get into Elysium. ~~Or so she told herself.~~ Her existence was only to cause strife, to destroy those who led the life she deserved.

The one time she came upon something actually useful she couldn't remember it properly. Useless... useless... useless... For she had to admit, she'd developed a kind of liking for the students here. They actually possessed some energy, they weren't just puppets of their parents, their teachers. And maybe she was fringing on selfishness, but she was not about to let the evil party organization ruin her only chance at friendship. And perhaps she just cared about this bunch, ever so slightly...

But whatever her motives, the fact remained that she was absolutely and utterly failing at figuring any part of this out. Right now, the most useful information would be the location the kidnapped students and faculty were being held. She had no leads on that. It would be up to the other characters to continue the plotline.

Athena was missing. Her Roleplayer apologises for this plothole and slightly far-fetched coverup.

After she'd made sure the mage was receiving their fair share of demonic summoning chants, she'd slipped away, a troubling thought prickling at the back of her head. Masquerade. That sounded familiar. Where...? It wasn't something people would talk about casually. Wait. Yes, yes, that was it. She remembered her father discussing it with a couple of his colleauges. Something about an illegal organisation which was kidnapping people. It was quite a time ago. She couldn't really trust her memory from that time, when she'd just started channeling her inner rebellious prankster. She'd often eavsdrop on her parent's conversations, which only further cemented her disdain for their uselessness. This time was no different. There was some talk about methods of kidnapping and what happened to those missing, mostly rumors and whatnot, but nothing whatsoever about courses of action. It wouldn't matter anyways. She couldn't even remember the exact contents to analyse them for clues. Sometimes she wondered how much better she was than her parents... Couldn't even remember simple details. Useless.

Maybe she enjoyed her mindless state of existence more.

Athena was thinking. Probabaly more than she'd thought in a long time. That was supposedly a good thing. She'd pretty much been on autodrive ever since she'd settled into rhythm. Aka, learned how to lie, how to prank, and how to generally keep a nice facade. And before you start shouting about depressing backstories and characters, she quite enjoyed her unthinking state of existence. Things were simpler that way. And it wasn't like she was mindless, she could very well exercise her intelligence when needed. Such as in this case.
