Just as Ethan was about to practice one of the techniques from the book, the door of his dorm room flung open. A voice from behind him complained about the water that his was controlling, saying that he already got soaked enough today as it was.
Ethan spun around to face him. He noticed that he was a few inches taller than Ethan and had brown hair. He guessed this was his new roommate.
"And you must be Randolph." Ethan said to him. Ethan was trying to gauge whether he was good or evil, but couldn't tell. "I'm Ethan."

Whilst Ethan was in the middle of controlling the water, the blonde telekinetic from the library walked through the bathroom door with a bundle of tissues in his hands. He walked over to the sink next to Ethan and doused the tissues with water. The blonde haired guy hadn't bothered making any communication with Ethan, Such friendly people around here. Maybe he was just pissed off? I suppose he did throw books at someone in the library just because he couldn't get a book he wanted... drama queen.
Once Ethan had collect enough water, he carefully manoeuvred back to his dorm, trying not to lose concentration and accidentally drenching the entire hallway.

While Ethan was reading through the book, he decided he would practice some of the techniques, so that meant he would need some water.
I don't have anything to put the in, so I guess I'll have to carry it along with me... Ethan thought as he opened his door, headed up the hall and entered the bathroom.
Once in the bathroom, he turned on one of the taps, raised both his hands, facing them towards the sink and began to control the water. As the water came out of the tap, it would slowly move through the air and begin wrap itself around Ethan, almost like a serpent trapping it's prey.

As soon as Ethan made it back to his dorm, he threw himself onto his bed and opened the book on Water Manipulation.
The first page opened up onto a table the contents; Capabilities, Limitations, Techniques.
Ethan decided he would read the book from start to finish, so he flicked over a few pages to the Capabilities section. It went on to explain that beings at an advanced level of water manipulation could manipulate water in all of it's forms, and are able to change these forms from one to the other at will. Ethan wasn't the most advanced, so currently he was only able to manipulate water in it's liquid form.
He flipped over to the next section; Limitations.
This section began by explaining that, although possible, creating your own water by drawing the moisture from air was not recommended as there rarely ever enough moisture to create a sufficient amount of water. And that most Hydrokinetics carried around their own water source. Hmm, I should really start doing that, Ethan thought.
Ethan then turned over to the next section; Techniques.

Ethan had watched the guy with black hair shapeshift into what appeared to be a hawk. The hawk had flew up towards the shelves near Ethan, but hadn't took much notice of him. Ethan watched as he grabbed a book with his talons, shapeshifted back, and left the library.
By glancing out the large window a few feet away, Ethan noticed the sun had almost set as rain began pouring down. Ethan loved the rain, being near water always gave him a temporary boost in his power.
Since it was getting late, he thought that it would be best to grab a few books and head back to his dorm. He descended down to the first floor and slipped down the aisle listed as powers. He looked under 'H' for Hydrokinesis, but was unable to find anything. So he began to looked under 'W' and found a book on Water Manipulation.
It's all the same, so I suppose this will do. Ethan thought as he walked over to the reception desk. The librarian was now present, she was a very small woman. He placed the book on the desk infront of her. She opened the cover of the book and stamped it, 'You have three weeks to return this.' She said while looking up at him through her glasses.
'I understand.' Ethan replied as he lifted the book and left the library.

Ethan had ascended up one of the spiral staircases and reached the third floor. He glanced around the shelves and noticed that he was in the 'Magical Begins' section of the library; Fairies, Nymphs, Oracles, Unicorns.
While browsing the books, Ethan began to hear more and more people piling into the library. He walked over to the railings, placed his hands upon them, and peered down towards the first floor. He saw a few people reading books at the tables, and then two guys amidst the aisles with the books about powers.
He could over hear them talking; One was complaining that he couldn't levitate high enough, then he was asking his friend to look for books about Telekinesis and Astral Projection. And then the other was saying about how he could shapeshift. Huh, A Telekinetic with Astral Projection, and a Shapeshifter. At least I've finally learned what some of the other students powers are.

Once Ethan had finished un-packing, he dawdled around his dorm for a bit; nice closet space, comfy bed, nice view. Overall, a very nice space.
After a while, Ethan's roommate still hadn't appeared, and Ethan didn't want to wait for him to show up, so he decided to go exploring...
Ethan exited him room, descended the stairs, and began to walk through the hallways. After passing by numerous classrooms, Ethan reached the end of the hallway; one corridor heading left, one corridor heading right. And in-front of him, stood two large, medieval style double doors. A small sign on the wall, left of the doors, revealed that the doors lead to the library.
Ethan pressed his hands against the doors and pushed them open. They started to creak as the swung inward. The first thing that took Ethan by surprise was the sheer size of the library, he had never seen one this big before. Inside, there were multiple stories, all stacked high with books; the ground floor, then two other levels above. Around the room, were a few spiral staircases connection all of the levels. Immediately to his left was enclosed, circular desk. He assumed this is where the librarian was meant to be, but no one was present. And finally, scattered around the room were tables and desks.
Reading was something that Ethan loved, that not many people knew about him. He had nothing better to be doing, so he went to search the selves...

Ethan didn't mind sitting through the assembly, it was nice to find out about the school.
He watched as the paper materialised in front of him and every other student, and quickly glanced through the class options. Ethan already had a good idea about which classes he wanted to take on, so it really wasn't a difficult decision. He pulled a pen out of his pocket and began to write them down;
Advanced Teleportaion
Elemental Kinesis
Potion Creating
Spell Casting
Problem Solving
Study Hall
Ethan stood up, folded the paper and hastily made his way down to the office. Once there, he slipped the paper into the dropoff box.
Ethan began to think, I'm free for the rest of the day, but I guess I should head back to my dorm to see if my roommate is there.
When Ethan reached his dorm room, he opened the door, and yet again, no roommate to be seen. Where is this moron? Ethan thought. Ethan turned around to his side of the room, grabbed his bag, and started to unpack his things.

Ethan entered the hall and sat down at one of the tables closest to him. There were a few other people at the table, but he didn't bother asking whether he could sit there or not. He was given a few strange looks, but he just pretended to have not noticed them.
Ethan sat in silence, watching as more and more students piled into the hall, wondering if his roommate was amongst them.
He was starting to get bored and was hoping that the assembly would hurry up and begin...

Ethan approached the school he'd be spending at least another year of his life in. He was looking forward to it, but also dreaded it at the same time. He wanted to advance his powers, yet, he didn't want to interact with other students.
Ethan entered the school and into the office. A woman, who he assumed was some sort of a secretary, told him to find his name on the list. Ethan glanced his eyes over the paper and found his name near the bottom of the page. He checked where his room was located, and then checked who his room-mate was; 'Randolph Smith'. He sounds boring. I bet he's good, Ugh. Ethan thought to himself.
He left the office and headed down a long hallway, passing countless classrooms, until he neared two large staircases on either side of him. Left was the male dorms, right was the female's. Up the left stairs he went.
When he finally reached his room, he opened the door and entered. He had expected his roommate to be there before him, but, he was wrong. It was a pretty standard room. Window opposite the door, bed and dresser and wardrobe on the left, bed and dresser and wardrobe on the right. Ethan took the left side of the room.
Just as he was about to unpack, the speakers announced than an assembly would be taking place. He threw his bag on the bed, and made his way to the dining hall.
