okay, as a moderator of this club, member of the artist community here, and a very frustrated person, here is a small rant and a personal request to all of you

so on the dftuy [draw for the user above you] thread, I see a lot of art that, quite frankly, doesn't have that much effort put into it. it is honestly disheartening to put in an hour of work into an art piece and then receive in return something that looks like it took < 10 minutes in ms paint to draw. It has made several users want to not post there because they feel cheated or scammed. I have noticed that a lot of the low-quality art seems to come from several members of this club. this is not directed at any one person, nor is it directed at anyone specifically, nor does this apply to everyone.

I ask that when you make art for others, be it a commission, art trade or dftuay, that you put more effort in, please? thank you

EDIT: I understand that some people are more inexperienced with art, but that doesn't mean that it's okay to not put as much effort in as you can. I am not trying to put anyone down or hurt anyone's feelings. xx
