"Thanks Jackie," Zelda said gratefully and she went to sit back
down on the log that she had previously been sitting on and came to
the conclusion that maybe if she had a little nap she would feel a
bit better. "Which one is your tent Jackie and do you have an extra
sleeping bag for me?" Zelda asked "I'm extremely tired," added
Zelda.
"I just wanted to say I'm really sorry for being so nosey lately,"
Zelda said to Jackie and Fog ashamed "Its just that well..." Zelda
thought of what she wanted to say in her head and told herself it
wasn't the time yet as she still didn't know much about these
people and what they could do.
Zelda strolled back to the centre of the camp and sat on a log
opposite Fog. Waiting for Jackie and Fog to finish there
conversation so she could apologise for being such a pest. In the
meantime she found a stick lying on the cold, rock floor. She
picked it up and started to play around with the fire by poking and
moving the odd chard piece of wood that would just crumble before
her very eyes. Suddenly, she felt really upset as this exact
experience was similar to another upsetting experience that
happened in her life.
After an hour of waiting Zelda finally saw Fog leave his tent
suspiciously holding a log in his arms very close to his chest his
face with a grin sprawling across it. To her surprise he entered
another tent. Eventually, Fog left the tent without the log.
Intrigued Zelda strolled towards the tent that Fog had just lefted
making sure to look around just in case someone was watching. Zelda
reached the entrance of the tent and before she could unzip the
tent to be her nosey self. She heard it. A voice calling her name
the same one that was calling to her after Jackie's fit. She turned
around to see no one there just the same tunnel that was calling to
her in the distance passed the campfire and a few other tents. She
started to walk away from the tent and into a void of unknown.
Zelda listened to Fog even though she had only met him a couple of
hours ago and silenced the voice calling her. She turned around and
started to walk towards the tent that Fog had entered and peered
through a small portion of the tent that hadn't been zipped up
fully as the nosey person she was.
"That was peculiar should I say," Zelda said trying not to make
Jackie uncomfortable. However, Zelda's attention was distracted
from the fact that a human changed into a totally different
humanoid figure. Despite this, she noticed that the ground was
rippled with cracks all pointing in the direction of a dark and
eerie tunnel there was also a black dust sort of substance
surrounding Jackie. Zelda started to walk away from the commotion
into the dark tunnel that called to her...waiting for her.
"Ummm...is anyone going to do anything, I could use some help
please," Zelda asked pleadlingly. "Do you need any water?" Zelda
asked Jackie trying to be helpful.
"What in the world is that!" -trying not to be rude- Gasped Zelda,
moving away from Jackie in the process as she quite scared. "What's
going on with Jackie, is this normal?" Zelda asked the others.
"Oh yeah!" Shouted Zelda "getting out of here, how are we going to
get out of this wretched place I want to go back home!" Zelda said
crying and hyperventilating.
"Thank you, that sounds great!" Said Zelda happily. "Mhmmm, these
are delicious!" Said Zelda extremely thankfully. "Do you have
anymore?" Asked Zelda deeply hoping there was.
"Thank you, not to seem rude but these log seats aren't quite
luxury are they?" Zelda said. "I see there are three tents,
ummmm...is there a fourth?" Asked Zelda. "I'm starving," exclaimed
Zelda, "Is there anything to eat?" Asked Zelda politely.
"Nice to meet you Jackie," said Zelda cheerfully at the thought of
new friends. "May I have a seat please I'm quite tired and it's
freezing in this blasted cave!" Exclaimed Zelda.
"Oh...sorry about that," Zelda said feeling ashamed at her
unfriendly actions. "My name is Zelda Kaminski, I'm from Terra,"
said Zelda "and who are your other friends?" She asked.
A sense of panick flushed into Zelda's emotions. As she heard
someone say "Hey, you know we can see you,". She stepped out from
behind the green tent to see two girls sitting on logs and a frail
boy laying down beside them that looked normal until she had a
closer look at his inhuman features.
Zelda ventured further and further into the abyss managing to avoid
tripping over the odd stalagmite. She eventually sore a light in
the distance. "Could this be a way out?" She hoped. Running now as
excitement flooded into her veins. -However, awaiting her wasn't
what she was hoping at all-. At last she saw the source the light.
"A campfire?" She said perplexed and disappointed. As she got
closer she was able to make out three figures surrounding the
blazing campfire and some green tents that littered the area. When
she wretched the campfire she hid behind one of the tents as she
didn't know if these people/creatures where her friends.
"Where am I?" Zelda said puzzled lying in the centre of a dingy,
poor-lit cave. A cold sensation grasped Zelda's attention that was
coming from her back that sent a shiver throughout her body. She
immediately sprung up from sitting to standing and turned around
hoping that there wasn't a cave dwelling beast waiting to feast on
her. Luckily all that she could see in front of her gaze was a void
of pitch-blackness, which equally seemed as frightening as a cave
dwelling beast waiting to feast on her. "There it is again!" She
proclaimed. She went to feel her pink tattered coat to find out
that it was wet. "What in the world could this be?" She asked
herself. "For goodness sake a third time!" She proclaimed even
louder as she was getting extremely annoyed at this point. She
finally found the source of this annoying pest. It was cold water
dripping from a stalactites hanging above her head. Once she had
concluded that that was the source of her annoyance she set of into
the perpetual darkness that awaited her.
