(Hi, Rory's being a jerk again)

Makoto ran up behind Meiji, huffing. He almost fell asleep again- and screwed up his hair more in the process. He yawned ~~like a kitten~~ again, stopping and grabbing his apple he left behind. "What'd I miss?"

"Slaps are just a mild inconvenience. I can prove that this claw-" he lifted the raptor claw up- "can do far worse to me. But that would require me to harm myself. So maybe a prick to the finger?" He held it to his finger, the grin growing. "Ohh, but I don't have the courage. I gotta keep hope, right? And if I accidentally hurt myself by, say, dropping it from the pain of pricking myself and slice my leg open..." he shrugged. "That'll make me an easier targer. Since I'll be weaker."
He chuckled again, the grin sagging as he got serious. "I'd rather not do anything with this claw, other than wear it. Because the raptor it came from..." he shook his head. "Deadly beast."
