	Snowclaw didn't notice the kits. He sat quietly basking in his shame. He felt so cold and empty behind his fur, for once he was glad he was long haired, so perhaps it could help hide his failure. Snowclaw leaves camp after he awakes with cold paws in his nest. Everything is ok, everything is ok, everything is ok,...... He keeps telling himself hes going to be fine, but hes not convinced. Once he is about 20 tail lengths from camp he snaps, and shouts to himself, "It was only a dream!" Still he cant get those dying kits out of his mind. "Who in starclan am I kidding? I will never be a father, no female would want to have kits with me. My children will never be hurt by rogues because I wont ever have any." He quietly berates himself.
