Drew and Angel both yelped when they heard the crash of thunder. "W-why d-don't we t-try t-to f-find some f-friends?" Drew asked his Pokémon, trying and failing to stay composed. Angel looked at Drew. She seemed worried, but squeaked in agreement. So Drew sat Angel down on the floor, and they walked side by side wondering who to go visit.

(Sigh. I'm always busy when stuff starts getting epic...) " Um... Shall your name be Chase?" Drew asked his Absol. It squeaked indignantly and ran its claws on one paw across its trainer's face just hard enough to get its point across. "Okay, so you're a girl, then?" Drew asked, laughing slightly at his Pokémon's way of getting its message across. It nodded. "Okay, in that case... How about Angel?" He asked. The dark-type Pokémon squeaked happily in response and licked Drew's face.

(Sorry I've been gone for so long, life has been busy. Poochyena.) A crack appeared on Drew's egg. "It's hatching!" Drew didn't know what to do, but clearly the Pokémon did. The egg's shell split apart, and before Drew could react it had hatched and he was holding an adorable baby Absol.

Future the Gyarados shot an intimidating glare at his trainer. "Oh, sorry. I forgot you were a water-type." Drew apologized. "Everyone, return." He brought them all back into their Poké balls. Then walked quickly and quietly to find somewhere with water so Future wouldn't attack him or anything. And since it was an island, finding a body of water wasn't hard. Sending everyone back out, he eventually got them all somewhat calm. Kit the Ninetales and Hazard the Houndoom naturally stayed far from the water, while Ivy the Venusaur, Cress, and Chase the Absol didn't really care either way. Future actually looked happy for once, and playfully used Surf to send a wave straight at the other Pokémon and Drew. The Fire-types leaped away quickly, and Drew tried to do the same, but Cress, Chase, Ivy, and himself all wound up soaked by the Gyarados' thankfully gentle Surf attack.

Drew decided to go adventuring again. Leaving his dorm with his egg, he wondered where to go. He somehow found himself at the water dorms, and with hesitation knocked on a door. "Er... Hello?"

Drew kept running, fear quickening his pace. When he was sure that he'd ran far enough, he stood panting for a few moments. "Go, everyone!" He sent out all of his Pokémon at once. He felt a lot safer with his Pokémon around. Cress glanced around, seeming relieved to be out of danger.

Drew just about freaked out when he saw Sky. "Cress, use bite!" He ordered his Umbreon. Cress just stood, frozen in fear. "Okay, Cress, return!" He called the Umbreon back into its Poké ball, and ran in some random direction, which happened to be right into Sky. He turned around and fled in the opposite direction.
