Seeing Casey smile caused Alfred to smile even wider and laugh. He was pretty happy as long as everyone else was, being an optimist, but hearing what Belladonna said caused him to send a glare her way. "Don't listen to her Casey, I promise the three of us will protect you from whatever comes our way!"

Maxwell shook his head, "I'm fine." he said softly "Just worried, I've had something like this happened before, it ended up bloody terrible." Lifting his head, he gave her a slightly reassuring smile, and suddenly acted like nothing happened. "There are room's upstairs that you can sleep in." he said, "Some of us will have to share rooms though."

	Finally coming back with whatever supplies they gotten, the three walked inside, each of them holding a weapon and a bag. Alfred and Wren holding pistols, and Maxwell holding a knife. "If we're going to solve this case." he said with a smile, "We're going to need weapons and tools to keep everyone safe." But something in his eye said differently. [Read more]

After a few blocks the three stopped for a break, sitting down on a bench. "Phew, how long will it take to get there?" Alfred asked, poking Wren. "Just a little bit longer on bike." she said, wiping sweat from her forehead. "By the way Max, what was with the crazy laughter? You worried me for a second dude." For a second he was quiet and then smiled. "You weren't here earlier, but I did the same thing to collect data, only this time I didn't have an actual panic attack. Now come on you two."

All three detectives thought that Bella was a little cold for her age, but each of them had a feeling that she would warm up, well Alfred and Wren did, not Max. They were all chatting to each other for a bit before a raccoon suddenly burst through the door, a man following the animal. Looking at each other, Alfred whispered something to Max, then the three nodded and went up to the new comer.

"That's true." He admitted, a thought coming into his mind. "But what if he knew he was going to die by one of us, so he summoned the people he thought were most likely to murder him or solve the case together in order to avenge himself." After thinking for a moment he sighed, "Come on, lets go greet the new people." he said, grabbing Cywren's hand and pulling her along, "We'll meet you up there okay?"

They got there just in time to see Alfred introducing himself. Turning around, Al spotted the little girl and immediately smiled. "Oh hello there! And yep, I was summoned here by Mr. Luke. I'm Alfred, but you can call me Al"

"I see your as friendly as ever." Max commented, a smirk on his face, causing him to turn around. "Max!" he exclaimed, embracing him in a hug "It's good to see your big head again." Maxwell slightly blushed and then turned away. "Why don't you go hug Wren, Alfred."

"Wait a second, Wren-Bird is here?" he asked, then spotting her, hugged Wren also. "Good to see you sweetie!"

Smiling at Savannah, Alfred waved then walked over. "Hey!" he said cheerfully, flashing a smile at her, "I'm Alfred Higgins from Scotland Yard, but you can just call me Al." With that he winked at her and made a small clicking noise with his tongue.

Meanwhile, Alfred had just arrived outside on his bike, and looked at the mansion in interest. "Geesh! Max and Wren said it was big, but I was never expecting this! I wonder if anyone's inside." After a while of trying to find a way in, he finally found the front doors. "Phew! It takes a lot of strength to push open these doors! How did everyone else get in?" It was pretty vast inside, spooky too he thought, looking around. "Maxwell? Cywren? Anyone?" he continued calling for a couple of seconds before closing the door with a big bang.

Shaking his head, Max let out a sigh. "I told you guys earlier that Sir Luke was murdered in his room, but I didn't tell you that they never found the body... Maybe Cywren can elaborate." Nodding her head, she looked at the other people in the room and started to speak.

"The day Sir Luke was murdered the police were called of course, we were part of the sent party. But by the time we got there the body was already missing, all known occupants of the house claiming they had never seen the body being moved. This led to the thought that there was no murder at all despite the protests. Being one of the smallest detective agencies in the area, we were called to investigate the murder because no one else wanted to go."

"So you see.." finished Max, "The murderer must have dragged the body down here before the police came somehow. They would also have to know where the room was located, which very few people do."
