Dreaming...

They say, if someone appears in your dream that means they were thinking about you before you fell asleep. But what if the person you see is actually invading the inner realm of your mind? There has been technology developed so you can warp into and experience other peoples' dreams with complete control of coming and going as you please. Using Binural sounds to induce lucid dreaming. This technology was planned to be used for story writers receiving new ideas and for therapists to help those suffering from nightmares. Something that was never intended to be used as a torture device...

Somebody had hacked into the Dreamscape's' system and completely overrode everything pumping horrible, bloody, dark, and gruesome scenes into a victims mind causing them to have permanent nightmares repeating themselves but getting more unbearable every time the person sleeps. This phenomenon has caused hundreds of Dreamscape users and patients to ultimately commit suicide, and beside every one of the dead bodies wrote a note that read: "The man in the gas mask told me to". Now investigators are trying to find the person who hacked Dreamscape to stop him, but too many people are dying before they can start. So trustworthy individuals have been chosen to use the Dreamscape and catch The Man in the Mask.

...But it will be harder than expected.
