Mr. Frazier claps his hands.
"Well then! We have concluded our assignment of roommates for the dorms. A slip of paper will be handed out now by our staff, so be sure to grab one. This slip of paper includes a map of the school and the distribution of students."
He paces back and forth a little before continuing.
"You are free to leave whenever you wish. Consider today a free day of sorts, but be ready for strong discipline tomorrow! The next official event will be at 13:00 PM in the lobby. Be sure to be there!"

FREE TIME - 9:30 AM

"Everything is just fine, thank you! I don't even know you!" Kamma sneers at the other girl. She grabs a paper angrily from a teacher coming by, though mumbling an apology shortly after. She feels a slight shiver when she reads who her roommate is. Anpea...
She hides behind the piece of paper, hoping desperately that this was just a misprint. She would die before this day was even over!

Sofus stands up to bow when being offered the piece of paper, taking his time to remember the school map, even if he had been going to the school for years. He smiles when reading through the roommate section, looking forward to getting to know Theo more.

The yelling gave Kamma some new-found confidence. "I said 'hi'! Are you deaf or something?!" She glares one final time at Asumi before deciding she can wait until after she's gotten some grub. She waltzes up to the table and puts whatever on her plate, sulking when sitting at the table again.

Sofus hums as he walks up to the food tables, greeting a few more familiar faces. He really wanted to go up to those dorms soon, but he assumed that they needed time to prepare everything properly. He grabs his favorite food and walks over to the Yellow Ferrets table again, eating peacefully.

Sofus smiles at the boy. "Happy to hear that! I'd be willing to introduce you right this second, but they're kinda in a different house. And it's breakfast time. That too." He scratches his chin before opening his mouth again. "Heard from Mr. Frazier that it'll be a brunch kinda deal. The food's already gotten put out on the tables, so I think it's the idea that we just go up and take some... You wanna come?"

BREAKFAST - 9:00 AM
Teachers may work hard, but the chefs in the kitchen work harder. Heaps of food and plates are carried out from the kitchen by many different folk. The food is left on tall tables in the end of the cafeteria. A chef rings a bell, signalling breakfast is officially ready. They walk proudly back to the kitchen.

Oh, Sofus is just about ready to tear up because of happiness. His ears tilt slightly to one side and then straight up again. A reoccurring motion. He likes to think that he listens better when he does that trick.
"Transferred you here... That's so cool! If you straight-up transferred and not just... joined in... Then you must be... a sophomore, right?" He does a shy finger gun. "I have friends that are sophomores, so I'm sure you'll fit in just fine with the class. They're really nice people!"

Kamma, now realizing she made eye contact, looks anywhere else but at Asumi's eyes. Stuttering, she says a hi. No clue if Asumi can even hear her, she punches herself innerly. She's just really stupid, huh. Keep in it, Kamma! You need to do that cool 2 person trick you saw on the Internet...

Sofus puts his elbow on the table, resting his head in his hand. This person reminds him a little of... Younger Sofus. He smiles at the thought. How sweet.

Sighing with the announcement of the breakfast section, Kamma claps Marie's shoulder. "Oh, I am so sorry, but I have to go now." Cheerily walking over to the Red Salamander table, she plops down, making sure her ears were extra upright. Could never skip out on hearing any new information. Especially with these strong people. Or well, presumably strong. Asumi sounded like she could very well beat someone up. Kamma narrows her eyes a little to look at her from across the table.

His tail wags eagerly with excitement as he sees just how many people they are in the Yellow Ferrets. Oh, how he couldn't wait to meet them all! He has to greet everyone! He has to!
Looking around for a target - any can do - he spots a little... blob. Well, even a blob can communicate!
"Greetings fellow Yellow Ferret! How are you today!!!"

Kamma, slightly scared from the people all around who probably could very well kill her, sits completely in silence. "Yeah. What a fun year," she says mechanically. The heck you mean 'fun'?! Is it because Marie's got her own personal bodyguards? Does that make a person more blind to the reality of life or something?

Mrs. Lantos wipes some sweat away from her forehead. Maybe... maybe everything should be okay now. Knowing her, she probably missed some few students... Oh well.
"Please come by the teacher's lounge if there are any students who have not been sorted or if any other issue occurs. Thank you!" She steps down from the podium and walks over to the teacher's table.

Mr. Frazier laughs a little at how exhausted she seems, a bit surprised that teachers can get so tired at just talking to others. Well, not him! He steps up to the podium with a pep in his step, readying his papers.
"Dorms are next on the schedule. In this school, you will be living with your respective house on the second floor of the school. When you walk into your house's room, you will be greeted by a common area with a little kitchen subsection. When you walk further into the common area you will see the dorms themselves; a bedroom with two beds and a single bathroom. You will be divided into dorms by random selection, but we do need a little more time to prepare these."
He smiles widely.
"So that is why, today, we will introduce the first breakfast to you all. Our kitchen has prepared the tastiest food of all time. Or so I would say. I don't really know what youth likes nowadays. In order to strengthen your bonds with each other, would you all be so nice as to occupy each table with your house friends? Green Deer on the right, Yellow Ferrets in the middle, Red Salamanders on the left... Oh, how you'll get used to this saying."

Sofus laughs at all of Mr. Frazier's jokes because of course he does. Looking forward to the food, he walks over to the table in the middle and plops himself down. Not many other students have sat down yet, possibly due to the sudden confusion of it all.

"Your team in a sense, yes. You will live and spend time with these people the most," Mrs. Lantos informs, loud and clear enough so everyone else in the cafeteria could listen in as well. "You will live in dorms with these people, be paired up in teams with these people and have these lovely individuals be more or less your family. I do hope you'll be close. And not..." She trails off. "Cause any... trouble..."

She claps her hands. "Now then. Asumi Honjou!"
