I was measuring my interaction speed yesterday for the speed click event and I capped at about 300 interactions/min when clicking with a single-button mouse (my usual method). Today I have been trying a few different ways of interacting (still all manual; clicking with a single-button mouse, clicking on a single-button mouse but moving my wrist to click instead (hard to explain), finger-tapping on my screen, and tapping on my screen with my digital pen) and timing them to see what is most efficient for me. So far, I've found that using the pen has been slightly faster and has put less strain on my wrist. This is NOT what I worry might violate site terms. This is what I wanted to ask about: I found that I could interact especially quickly if I move the pen across the screen while rapidly clicking the single "left-click" button on the pen (Wacom Active Stylus Pen for LG gram 2-in-1; it came with my laptop and I think the buttons can be customized, but I have it where one button is left-click and the other is right-click which I think is the default). I haven't measured how fast it actually was, but it seemed different enough from my normal interaction speed that I wanted to ask before trying it again to see if there's anything I'm missing that would violate site rules. I can try to get a video of it if I have permission to do so as a demonstration. AGAIN, I am NOT going to try this again unless I hear from a mod that it's okay. I've been here since 2015 and am intent on upholding the rules of fair engagement on this site. Sorry for the essay, I might be overthinking it. Thank you for your time and patience. [Read more] |
