A mystic aura surrounds you, a cry calls out in your mind. Somewhere on this astral plane, another Pokémon species has gained the ability to evolve further with the use of a Mega Stone! A mysterious voice asks you to try and find it, by participating in this new event distribution. All you have to do is to collect enough activity points before the end of May 19th. Good luck!
This new Mega Pokémon has been created by our member Furret in our previous spriting contest. This is the third winning submission. More will follow soon!

... once more!

Over 8 years ago, the Harvest sprite quest was released on PokéHeroes. Back then it was our very first quest, and thus the original introduction of the ancient cave.
There were, however, always several problems with this quest: For example, shiny harvest sprites were unobtainable, and most tasks were either luck-based, or - shall we say - a bit ridiculous.
Both of these issues have now been addressed in a complete overhaul of the quest! Not only is the quest entirely skill-based now (there are goals you need to work towards instead of hoping for lady luck), but you can now also play hide and seek with the harvest sprites once more in order to get their shiny eggs. Good luck! ... Uh, I mean: Work hard!

Prepare your Game Chips

Hello, hello, young trainer! Ready to gamble? I have got a hot insider tip for you: You should prepare asap for April 15th, when Magearna (Ultra Ball) will be distributed for the very first time in its shiny version at Magearna's Game Center raffle. Meowth, that's right!
One extremely lucky trainer will be drawn from the pool of participants at midnight. And all you have to do to participate is to buy raffle tickets. The more raffle tickets you buy, the higher will be your chance of winning! Easy enough, right? Meowth.
And there's more good news: Starting this month, Magearna's raffle will distribute shiny prizes not only on the 15th of each month, but now also on every 28th. Best of luck, and gamble on!

Special Event

Our great community created 20 beautiful Easter Eggs in an exciting Spriting contest during the last few weeks. The fancy coloured winner eggs have now been hidden carefully by cute Wreafki in many different spots all around town!
As it is tradition in Emera Town, not only children search for Easter Eggs but also motivated Pokémon Trainers. This year, when you find sixteen eggs or more, you receive a new Event Pokémon. Those who manage to find all twenty eggs receive a special item reward. You can claim your prize after the event has ended, starting on April 19th.
Good luck and happy hunting!

The following news post was part of our April Fools' Day Event in 2022:
Introducing:
Smell your Pokémon!
Have you every wondered what your favourite Pokémon smells like? Does Bulbasaur smell better than Venusaur? Does the smell of Charmander remind you of a cozy night by the fire? Now is the time to find out!
Last year, most commonly used internet browsers started rolling out their software support for the new OLED technology: OLED (odor and light emitting diodes) is a type of screen (commonly used in smart phones and gaming hardware) which is not only able to display a sharp picture to the user, but also emit certain scents. Using invisible short lightflashes at varying wavelengths, the screen is able to emulate a configurable smell. Thanks to new APIs, we are now able to use this feature on PokéHeroes and introduce: Smell your Pokémon!
In order to check if your hardware supports this technology and to try out this feature, please run the calibration linked below. Remember that the feature is very new and bugs may occur. Feedback should as always be provided in our forum.

and Exp. Share

Have you ever been annoyed that you interact with other trainer's Pokémon and eggs - but you hardly receive any interactions in return? Well, then the new Exp. Share is just for you:
While interacting with other Pokémon, your Exp. Share randomly generates Powerorbs. These powerorbs can then be used to raise your own Pokémon's experience points, as well as bring your own eggs closer to hatching. You can obtain several Exp. Shares at the item shop and as rewards from completing puzzles.
