The new event egg is on the index page right now with weird black bars below and to the right of it. I’ve never seen that happen with any eggs or Pokémon on the index page before.

The new event sprites are always glitchy. Give it couple of hours or a day coz the system is still registering it.

Clearing your cache should speed up the process :)

I just saw another one on the index page, and this one looked perfectly normal, I think. So the problem is probably solved, whatever it might have been, and I didn’t have to clear my cache this time.
