The only ways to get ditto are to adopt it from the lab or buy it from someone else, so just keep adopting lab eggs and if you get lucky you might eventually get a ditto.

save up 10 000 normal gems then borrow a ditto.buy the ditto from gem collector and you have your own ditto!

You have to find someone that trusts you enough to lend them your ditto, if you wanna go the borrowing route, which is why i don't often suggest it because not many people are willing to lend their ditto out in case they get scammed.

The moment you get it you can get the egg, provided you have the 10k normal gem requirement for it.
I believe so, anyway.

Actually your best bet would be to collect about 2,000-2,500 normal gems and sell it off cheaply at the item market, then buy a ditto at the auction house. That's what I did at least.
Because 10k normal gems being sold for the absolute cheapest (1,500pd) is 15,000,000 pd. While 2,000-2,500 normal gems is 3,000,000-3,750,000 pd. Doing it this way is a lot cheaper, I would only go the 10k route if you want it for your egg dex
