It would be awesome that wee could get retro ditto. This ditto on breeding will have lots of diferences:
1-will be able to breed with other retros but they will have the regular chance
2-will breed with even more legendaries (like the bird trio or cosmog)
3-shiny ones will give a shiny bonus but these eggs will not count toward your chain
4-placing the ditto with retro mew will give you the chance of getting a ditto egg every hour
5-will make the probability of 100% of breeding events wen placing with a eventmon

Ways to get him:
1-extremly rare on the lab

3-trading
4-on the price exchange for 100,000,000 GC

As far as I'm aware, event pokemon ideas should be communicated to Riako (+the staff) privately, instead of doing so in public. It kinda makes sense to me retro pokemon would be the same, but who knows.

Regardless. I do think a retro ditto would be neat to have in the future. However, some of your ideas I don't quite agree with.

1. I believe retros are not able to breed for a reason: they're supposed to be rarer and more difficult to get. Some retros especially are a bit more limited in number and being able to breed more would devalue them. So I'm not quite sure if I like this. I'm sure shiny hunters would have a field day though. :b
1.1. Perhaps if breeding retros was to ever be a thing, it could work like events. There's actually a suggestion that includes this here.

2. No. This would devalue legends as well. The legendary pokemon that you can currently breed with a normal ditto are trade-locked, which prevents the inflation of them on the market.

3. I'm not sure I understand this point. So a shiny retro ditto would make you more likely to breed eggs that hatch shiny but you wouldn't be able to chain them? Seems kinda of pointless to me as you'd gain a boost but also lose the boost from the chain so... +1-1=0? Or do I misunderstand this?

4. So retro ditto and mew would breed regular dittos? Or retro dittos? I'm not sure how this makes sense and, again, the value of ditto/retro ditto would plummet.

5. Once more, this would result in inflation of event pokemon (and regular events I think are easy enough to get as it is) and especially shiny event pokemon. Yes, it can be argued hunting an event can be too big of a task without the event pass and too expensive with the event pass, but I'm not sure this is the solution. Maybe some kind of slight boost to the chance of getting event eggs would be more reasonable?


At the end of this, it seems the idea is that this retro ditto would be some kind of super universal breeder. Even though I do think that the concept of a retro ditto having its own unique breeding benefits is interesting, all of this is way too much in my opinion.

Some kind of new location (Burning Mansion) or a quest to obtain the retro ditto seems like a fun idea, as opposed to adding it to the lab or the prize exchange at the Game Center.
