We all know that we already have the price check thread wherein it guides us and tells the general price of something... But I can't help but wonder that some of them are priced not just low nor very low, but extremely low...

For example, the shiny retro Pokémon particularly the shiny retro starters and retro mew,
We know that there is a 2% chance of a retro egg to be shiny, this probability is constant to everyone (as stated), thus by infusing the concepts of probability, we might get an accurate price for it...
2℅ is equal to 1/50... Thus in general, it will takes 50 eggs before a shiny will hatch...
Now given this information, we can deduce that the price of a shiny is equal to

The price of it in normal form (multiplied by) 50

Thus since a retro starter voucher is worth 60-75k, then the price range of a shiny would be

(60k * 50) - (75k * 50)
which is 3 million - 3,750,000...
And this estimated price is extremely high compared to the 550k-700k price we know today...

Another one, the sr mew.
A voucher of it is worth 800k - 1M, thus by using the same formula,
(800k * 50) - (1M * 50)
40M - 50M...
And this also is very high compared to its current price which is 3.5M - 4M...

This is probably the wrong place for this suggestion. There is a form made by -Max in the price-check-thread for pricing-suggestions

But i also think it should not go that high since you dont get only the shiny but also the 49 other non-shinys by doing your math Also the voucher have more value because the grant the egg-dex-entry and could (potentially) give out multiple shinies

Oh I didn't know such thread exist (I know that there was a form)... But even though that is the case, this post has no correlation to it, since I haven't gathered enough information stating that that thread is official...

Anyways, considering the 49 normal retros (with the idea that all of them will be sold at a constant price which is 20k - 30k), then 20k*49 - 30k*49 which is 980k - 1,470k which leads to the remaining price of 2030k - 3020k...
Thus 550k - 700k can still be considered very low compared to 2M - 3M...

Regarding with the egg-dex, it'll only need an egg to hatch to register it to the eggdex... Meaning, even if u hatch a normal retro, it would still count to ur eggdex. Thus it wouldnt give significant drop to the price of the retro pkmn...

Regarding again with hatching multiple shinies in 50 eggs, yep that is true, it is also theoretically possible to hatch 50 shinies in 50 eggs, but it is also theoretically possible to hatch 500 eggs or even a million without even a single shiny... But the general knowledge, since a shiny retro has 2℅ chance to occur, in general it'll take 50 eggs for one to hatch a shiny...

im talking about the price-check-thread which you mentioned in your initial post on this suggestion...

and back to the egg-dex-point:

sure using 50 vouchers give only on entry to a single player, but multiple to multiple users

and dont underestimate having your own ot...you can effectively buy a shiny jirachi for a few million pd while hunting it yourself and getting your shiny at an avarage chain of 70-80 would cost you 17,5-20 million, which is multiple times of what shiny jirachi is actually "worth" while the regular jirachi are maybe the worst in terms compared summing cost to sale value

to the point of the chance hatching more shinies in 50 vouchers: users also open mystery boxes, even though you usually get more, if you just sell your mystery items for 10k each in total value
