I've noticed something about trades, in both GTS and the Gem Exchange. If your offer is a day old, no one will see your offer, or really care to search for it. GTS at least has a search function, but new offers especially in the Gem Exchange would get noticed and be successful. Older offers in the Gem Exchange pretty much get left in the trash that I know of.

I'd like to suggest the ability to bump an offer, without needing to remove it and repost it to get it into the Newest Offers. There could be an option in the "Your Offers" box in the Gem Exchange, and the trade info in GTS. To prevent spamming bumps, there could be a cooldown of 3 or so hours. So what do you guys think?

I'm not really sure this is all that needed and 3 hours isn't much of a cooldown with the amount of activity (at least on just a regular day, it depends).

People will care to search for items they're looking for in the GTS. And if you find there's been no offers on your trade for a couple of days, you can always cancel it and post it again.

As for the Gem Exchange, I've scrolled quite far or even to the bottom on the offers and my own offers have been exchanged weeks, a month, or even longer after I posted them. So I haven't really seen this phenomenon of gem offers being 'left in the trash' if they're not exchanged soon after posting. (Just plain bad offers being left hanging is different entirely though.)

I'm quite neutral on this for now though since I don't think allowing bumping would hurt as long as there would be measures against spammy bumping.

EDIT: Oh, also, GTS bumping has already been suggested at least on this thread.

Personally speaking, I have scrolled to the bottom of the gem exchange searching for specific gems many times. And the list for gem exchange is not as long as GTS, one can scroll to the bottom easily in a couple of minutes or less.

Now, following what Finhawk said, as for the trades at the bottom, except for a few, most of them are pretty bad, for example, 1 normal gem for 10 dragon gems, and others of such kind. And the exceptions to this usually do get exchanged.

My offers too, get exchanged within a few weeks. But, if by chance your offers still don't get exchanged after a month or so, you can take it down and put it up again, which is only a bother if you have a large number of such unexchanged offers, which doesn't happen often, given that you made a fair offer. (A 'small' number of exceptions are always there for everything)

In my opinion, it'll be kind of an unnecessary upgrade to the existing gem exchange, but then again, small things like this do add up to make things easier for users.
