I understand why the answer would be no but it would be awesome to pay for 30 days and after being berry battled out, one could sign out for a week and still have days left @ premium.....

I think what they're saying is that premium shouldn't count if you're not online. So for their example, once the berry battle is over (if they only purchased a month of premium) they should be able to log out for a week and then week that they're offline won't count towards their premium.

But yeah, no support though. You pay for premium per month, if it's something that can't be committed too, then it's best to not buy premium if you know you won't be on often for x amount of days
