What if pokeheroes did an art contest every month where you drew your own pokemon, add ideas and all that like images, colors, stats, powers, shiny look, mega-evalution look, and types plus name. Pokeheroes can use the submissions and maybe make it an official pokemon if it gets enough votes?

I like the idea but there's several facters that make me say no.

1. Not everyone can draw / is an artist and people will naturally vote for what's best and that's not fair on the comminuty.

2. Every month is far too often. Maybe once every 6 months, there is already an art contest at christmas after all.

3. If they're different enough to be classed as 'Emera pokemon' I do like the idea of making it an offical pokemon but it'll have to be for a themed event.

To solve some of the questions -Gladiolus- mentioned maybe ;

1. It's true not everyone can draw, I can't really add on to that, but it could be set up so that; lets say, theres' the top 3 winners, those top three winners cannot enter the next two drawing contests, etc, that way, it won't always be the same people winning every month.

2. It could be a little too much once every month, but if it were set up so the same person can't win for three months, it kinda breaks it up, or if that wouldn't work, maybe every second month, but if it'd be every second month, then my first point wouldn't apply to "not being able to enter the next two drawing contests", they'd maybe just not be able to enter the next one, so they'd be barred for four months instead.

3. The idea of using someones art to turn into a possible new event pokemon isn't that farfetched' (haha), it would be pretty neat to do something like that, although the issue i'd see with that is that just because the public deems a drawing sprite worthy- to be on ph, doesn't mean that it could actually be done in the end, depending on the details of said pokemon creation, etc, it'd be pretty disappointing if we promised something like that to the top drawing only to not be able to do it in the end.

When seeing this it makes me think - HEY! maybe it would be nice to see around.
Yea some people can't draw, but that is where you make "doodles" to submit and some professional can make it into some actual looking pokemon! I mean dude/dudettes, the japanese pokemon artists take children submissions like toaters and lamps and turn them into pokemons. How else did you think they got most of the Alolan ideas?

This would give the admins, mods, spriters, wiki writters, and other people something to do and would learn to love doing! It would help us bond. There don't even need to be contests. I mean they should pick one by different types? Like example, picking 2 of each type and double types there can be four? Heck and each person could actually submit something! Or someone in the higher place can assign everyone to a type and they can just work on it?

Anything can just happen and drawing submissions should be a top awesome thing in general just to see some people actually do something entertaining together with others. It may get them a job into working on pokemon! And those who can't draw maybe they can partner up with someone like a group bonding thing. Those who are new can reach a level or they can still try it out? Everyone can just try a chance, not EVERYONE has to do it? It is just maybe to see new and different pokemon then to see the originals and already made sorts of pokemon made by other creators. I'd LOVE to see pokemon new and names and maybe even new types?
