I had this idea, since it will be helpful. There should be in the union room a list with the newest users within the last 10 hours. Do you support me?

Well. It is good because new users will get a plushies for welcome, since from when I was welcoming users in my feeds, I and people were sending them a plushies and I, personally, sent them a PM which was saying:
Welcome to PokeHeroes!
Hope you have fun here. Enjoy your welcoming presents ;)
(When I said welcoming presents I meant the plushies.)
So these are the good sides.

Well, I don't see why you would need to be in a staff position to welcome new users? If you want to do so, just go ahead. Plus, I bet people will aknowlegde being welcomed even more if you weren't hired for doing so ..

I agree with what Liirah said, and it would also kind-of defeat the purpose of the 'Introduce Yourself' threads and the 'Welcome Pokeheroes' thread as well.
In reason, I don't support.

Honestly I REALLY do not see the point in this at all. New users are welcomed anyway, especially because they HAVE to introduce themselves in the forums to complete the tutorial, so why should we get a staff member to do what regular users already do? It seems to be a too simple and pointless task for a staff member if I must be honest. Honestly it seems like you just want staff positions to be handed out to regular members, specifically YOU because you seem to welcome the most people.

So yeah in short I don't support.

No offence but this looks like you are trying to get in PH staff position and the suggestion you made sounds not right. There's no need to make a new position for this. Your suggestion can be changed to this - New users receive PM automaticly from Riako when they register (Could be codded) so there would be no need for a new position. About sending plushies and money, if you really want to be "welcomer" then just send them plushies/money/welcome them without leting anyone know it. Doing good stuff anonymously is better.

Angell, no, I don't care who it will be, or if I will be. I don't have enough time to spend as staff members spend. I just would like to see someone who does this job.

I see where your trying to go, but there isn't a point to this, and members should just welcome new users in general. Like Liirah said, if you want to welcome a new user, just go ahead, there doesn't need to be a staff position for it.

Oh, I thought of a similar suggestion, I understood that there is no point. I am going to change the main post in 2 minutes.

Now this I would probably support. Most websites you join these days have a coded welcome message. New users are welcomed and a staff position would not be just handed out like this suggestion wants.

Why did you change the whole suggestion? Now people who read this thread are not going to have a clue as to what happened before the edit. Honestly you should have made a new thread and let this one die out because they're not similar.

Anyway still no support for this suggestion. New users HAVE to create a new thread or post in the "introduce yourself" forum to complete the tutorial. We can welcome them as we please in their thread.

I guess it was too hard to make a new thread. Agree with Angell and no support oddy.
