They suddenly burst into Nuvema town, and Chad had to grab Feu's
neck to stop from falling. He jumped off. "So this is Nuvema town.
It's small." he grunted. Moe put Feu back in her Pokeball. "W-well,
it's one of the t-towns." he stuttered. Chas rolled his eyes, then
made his way to the lab, briskly walking by a girl. When he passed
her, he gave Annika a slight shove tp the side to get past her
easily.
"Down there Ptera - I think thats's the place. What was it...?
Nuvema Town or something like that?"
The Aerodactyl looked the trainer on her back, giving her a
confused look. Nevertheless, she did as her trainer requested and
soared downwards, towards the town. Despite her looks, Ptera was a
graceful and trusted flyer, and landed safely with a loud welcome
screech, in the south of Nuvema Town.
Her trainer climbed off of her back and tightened her tawny
ponytail. Harlow, the name of her trainer, lightly scratched her
nose as a 'thank you for the ride', before taking a crumpled piece
of paper from the pocket of her jacket.
"I guess all we have to do now is find the lab since we stocked up
back at Castellia.."
Harlow received a reassuring nod from the Pokemon, before heading
into the town with Ptera close behind.
Stepping out of the pokemon center, Jean huffed. "Well, at least
they're good now. Let's find out what Juniper wanted!" He stopped,
hearing a screech, and glanced around before making his way to the
lab, keeping his head down.
"Ena, don'cha think that- HEY!" Annika started, shouting as Chad
shoved her. "Ex-SCUSE you! Watch where you're going!" she dusted
herself off, as she'd backed into a bush. "Arceus, Ena, three
minutes in and I'm already experiencing rude pedestrians."
--
"No." Marisa responded curtly as she entered the town.
Chad glared back at her, then shrugged, turning back and walking
into the lab. Moe sighed, but then quickly hid behind him when he
saw Harper. "C-chad...there's someone already here!" he said
nervously.
"Moe, you know we would have had to talk to other people anyway, so
suck it up!" he snapped back. Moe nodded, but didn't look at
Harper.
Angelica tapped on Chad's shoulder, "Um... Hi, sorry to bother you,
but could you apologize to that girl over there? It was clearly
your fault since you bumped into her while she had been minding her
own business." She explained, not liking how he was being so mean.
"AAaaand we have arrived." Platinum smiled. "Nuvema Town, huh?" He
looked around. Noticing a few trainers gathered around the biggest
building, he started walking towards them.
Arriving at the lab, Kit was surprised to see how many people had
already gathered. Trainers, by the look of them. Including the
light and dark skinned boys he'd seen earlier zipping past him
while walking. Seemed like those guys had been in a rush, but
well...
He approached the group, raising a hand. "Hey hey, no need to get
all...excited." He raised an eyebrow at the dark-skinned Annika.
"Give a guy some breathing room, you'll get a more sincere apology
from it." Lecturing younger trainers, geez, he was like some sort
of parent.
"Ah, by the way, I'm Kit." He added, as an afterthought.
Chad growled at everyone around him. "Why should I apologize? She
was in my way!" he said, glancing over at Moe, who looked very
uncomfortable, even outside his anxious disguise. He placed away
from the crowd. "Now back off, you're scaring my friend!"
Moe sighed, putting his hand on Chad's shoulder. "Y-you should
a-apologize, though." he said. "They're stressing me out." he
added, whispering to only Chad. Chad then sighed. "And I'm sorry,
alright?" he huffed, then looked away.
Jean glanced over to Kit. "Oh, hello!" He waved, a bit cheerfully,
as Marie-Paul trilled. "Er- My name is Jean, this is Marie-Paul..."
Marie-Paul swung her tail, trilling in an angry way. It seemed she
was slightly offended about something...
"In YOUR way?!" Annika snarled, adding a light and sarcastic
chuckle at the end. "Hah! I was walking into the town, when you
sprinted past and ran into me! I was doing everything correctly!"
she groaned.
"This is a mess." Marisa said quietly as she aggressively knocked
on the door.
Harper whimpered and took a cautious step backwards. Ivy huffed and
meowed uncomfortably. "L-Let's n-not f-fight. Ap-pologies w-were
s-said." She stuttered, trying desperately to control it.
“Heya Jean, nice meeting you.” Someone that wasn’t starting a fight
in the few seconds of meeting a stranger, gosh. So there WERE
sensible people here huh? “And yeah, he’s apologized, so let’s
chill, a’ight?”
His Wingull shuffled on his shoulder, seemingly nervous about the
shouting. But who really liked loud noises anyway?
Chad rolled his eyes and didn't reply. Moe stood awkwardly beside
him, looking at the crowd. "S-sorry about him. H-he's been
stressed." he said, then leaned against Chad. Chad gave him a tiny
smile, and threw his arm around him.
