When on the GTS, if you reject a trade, you cannot specify why, which can lead to a ton of confusion for the person who offered on it.

How about we add a text box that'll add why it was rejected?

Whenever a trade you offer on is rejected, you get a notification somewhere along the lines of "Your trade has been rejected."

With an optional text box to give a reason, and the user decides to use it, the notification would say something like;

"Your trade has been rejected.
Reason: Doesn't meet the Pokemon requirement."

Of course the reason is optional, so you wouldn't have to use it if you didn't want too.

Support. That could help a lot especially to inform users who put their palpad on friends only and would be a fast and easy way :)

I'm poor, so this doesn't affect me much, but I've been rejected before and there's no easy way to know why. Better offer or they didn't like mine? If my palpad's on friends only, unless I've friended them, we can't communicate quickly. It'd help with re-offering on the same thing. Support.

I don't like the idea of a text box. I think maybe a drop down box (or multiple choice poll) of the few most common reasons to reject a trade would be better. A text box can be used for harassment (example: your newbie offer sucks!).

I am a mobile only player.

Full support! If you get rejected, you would want to know why. And if you reject an offer/cancel the trade, the people who offered would want to know what happened.

I agree with Zerenity, there should be options for most common reasons. You could "bully" people with free chat. As well as accidentally sound rude why you declined, which can be solved with options, as the person knows that it was just the option.

Full support. Many times I have offered on a trade, just to be rejected. Of course, that's confusing. So if this was added, it could save users a ton of confusion. My only question is how the settings would work (how do you turn off someone specifying rejecting reason? They're the ones who actually send it over, right?) I agree with KitsuneNinetales and Zerenity, free chat isn't the best option. While, of course, the user could always report, it's just better to do a multiple choice poll (or something along the lines of that) and keep it like that.

this would be so much better than sending them a gift with one berry stating the reason! (which is what i've been doing to avoid having an absurd amount of pms as i can't use palpad)
