Carolina rolled her eyes at the sound of "introduction" and the
further sound of Simone's cheerful tone.
"What is this? 'First Day of School!
Welcome-to-your-class-ice-breaker!'" she sarcastically cheered,
standing up. "I'm Carolina and I can already tell that I
specifically will not like you." she barked, staring
directly at Simone.
“Good day to you. Since you see me as a teacher figure, obviously
that means I’m much more wiser than you. Which was obvious anyway.”
Simone said flatly.
Ophelia sighed. “I am Ophelia. Daughter of Dr. Facillier. And a
mervomancer and voodoo person. The pleasure isn’t mine.”
"Don't get it twisted, the only thing I see you as is annoying."
Carolina corrected. She took a seat with her arms and legs crossed,
lips puckered and anger gradually building up.
Sensing tension, he laughs a little awkwardly under his breath.
Guess he should say something before a cat-fight broke out. "And I
am Alaa, as I said. Son of Aladdin, owner of the genie's lamp and
ring! It is nice to meet you ladies today." First-day-introductions
not-with-standing, he briefly wondered whether Carolina had ever
undergone a class on manners and how to manage social-relationships
for political reasons... Probably not, unless she was a rebel of
some sort. It did not escape his notice that she didn't mention her
parentage.
"You should take a chill pill. Like, doctors give out pills, both
of which you need." Simone retorted.
Ophelia sighed. "Both of you. Shut the hell up. Or I'll like, find
a spell to shut you up." She snapped, turning to the others in the
car. "Why don't we just... leave the two of them here and go to the
food car." She suggested, having to look up from the major height
difference.
"Hang on, I still didn't introduce myself!" Kona Uku exclaimed at
the end of the fight. Clearing his throat, he began to say. "Im
Kona Uku, son of Te Fiti, but just call me Uku!" He said. "And this
is..." he was about to take his own heart off to introduce Kona
Hewa. "Nevermind."
"Can't say I'd argue with that." He muttered under his breath,
agreeing with Simone. But he did look over to the
grass-plant-magic-wielder. And this is... Did he have a pet
or something? Alaa would keep his eyes peeled, that's for sure.
"Food sounds lovely. I guess we all can't eat chocolates for snacks
right?" He tries to joke.
Carolina glared at Simone but before she was able to retort,
Ophelia spoke and this ultimately caused her to turn her attention
to the latter.
"You don't scare me, puppet girl," she started, "my family's dealt
with little voodoo people and we can vanquish you faster than you
can pull out a pin to stick into one of your little ragdolls." With
every word, she took steps closer to Ophelia until she was in her
face. She scoffed with a short smile before purposely bumping into
her and walking off, ignoring Kona Uku and Alaa.
"Enough." Ella finally snapped out. "There is no need for your
attitude. We have not personally harmed you now chill." As she was
talking she drummed her fingers on the table, accidentally freezing
it.
“There’s no need for my attitude... almost like there’s no need for
your input.” Carolina retorted sassily before continue to walk to
another one of the train cars, mumbling something under her breath.
As she walked, her anger built up inside of her and triggered her
Telekinesis, making a few random, small objects go flying as she
walked by. She typically hadn’t acted out as such, though she knew
she wouldn’t get along with and most definitely did not like Simone
whatsoever regardless if this was some sort of PMS symptom or not.
"Charming, charming." Alaa murmured a bit under his breath.
Alright, either magic made their attitude scale skewed or there
were some really rude girls in their year. (Frankly, he was
starting to think the latter was true.) "So ah, if it's no trouble,
I'll just excuse myself. Toodles!" The thief also steps out, making
a note to find another car to sit in. He did not feel safe in that
environment, he did not.
Ophelia grumbled angrily, her eyes again taking on a reddish tint
and some dark thing appearing in her hands, her hair whipping
around to look for Carolina. "Pick on someone your own size." She
snapped to the absent girl.
Simone sighed, deciding now would be the time to get a drink or
snack to calm herself down, and walked towards the refreshment car.
Kona Hewa was just watching the talking. Why is this taking so
long... He thought to himself and looked at the window right
next to him. Was the school THAT far away? Seemed like it. But
being trapped in a train with two teenagers wanting to kill each
other wasn't something good.
The train screeched to a halt. Simone grinned, running back to the
first car she was in and hoisting her suitcase off the overhead
place it was on, then standing by the door.
Ophelia picked up her bag as well, still standing towards the door
but more in the back.
Hanging about the luggage cart, Alaa ran a hand through his dark
lockes and made a grab for his luggage case. Small and well-used,
it had some expansive magic inside, courtesy of his dad's genie.
But really, he wondered, would he meet his genie at school?
(Probably better luck than on the train. Such weirdos.)
Carolina sighed as the train came to a halt, taking a step off of
it. She noticed most of the people she'd seen previously and simply
ignored them, grabbing her luggage and taking a step towards the
door.
Heading out of the train with a knapsack on his back and a small
luggage-case, Alaa whistled as he stepped off the train. It wasn't
the best mode of transportation, but it wasn't like they could just
build an airplane landing circle at the school. Secrecy and
all that. He keeps up a jaunty tune as he looked about, small class
numbers, from what he could tell.
“Well isn’t this lovely? We all just love to stand around and do
nothing like we’re in a coma.” Carolina commented, pushing past
everyone and walking towards the school.
