I wanna suggest this for those who are not READING the Thread's Rules,, Thats the point of Giving Passwords,, But,, People may OPEN THE SPOILERS then Ctrl+F then Search: Passwords so The PassWord will be highlighted,, I HATE THEM

So I am Suggesting this BBCode:

Show hidden content


And The Code will be: [hide=THE WORD TO BE HIDDEN]The Word to be showed[/hide] or

[tip=THE WORD TO BE HIDDEN]The Word to be showed[/tip]

Well, at Mobile Users,, They will only Tap it so Avoid placing it on links

I don't support. Hovers already don't work for mobile users, this will only make things more annoying for them. Unless this will be made to work for everyone, I won't support.

And I'm pretty sure if a person doesn't want to read the rules of a thread, they won't no matter what. They will skim for the pass and not even register what anything else could possibly say.

kyogre - tapping doesnt make this viewable for mobile users.

i dont support this

its easier for you to just use transparent text or place it elsewhere within the text and not make the password really obvious

Eeeeeeehhhhhhh..... I would agree with the fact that it is very, very, very annoying when people just search the password but it will disadvantage a wide range of users so sorry, no support. Going off bourkey's statement, it would be more beneficial and easier to just make the passwords more elaborate.

You can also put this password in a spoiler; this will prevent the CTRL + F techniques, too.
I think the major problem with these thread passwords is rather the fact that you can see it in every “I want to join“ post ;)

You can refrain from using the word "password" to avoid this, and make the password different for everyone.

Example:
"To prove that you read the rules, put your favorite pokemon somewhere on your post, if your favorite is the same as the user above you, put missingno instead."
