I would suggest on a improved pokedex.
The current one just shows the pokemons we have, what about the pokemons that we don't have?
My concept is to show which pokemons we don't have and need to get for a dex.

And this is pretty unfair that we only get dex of pokemons we own. What about evolutions??
And we can only stop evolution by ever stone. If we don't get sufficient everstones, our pokemons will evolve and we will not be able to get the dexes of pre-evolutions.

That's how it works on PokéHeroes, though. It's one of the concepts of this site.
The professor needs to have the pokémon, in order to learn more about them; you can't learn anything new, if the pokémon isn't around, you know ^^'

Yes, it can be frustrating, but that's partially the challenge of PokéHeroes. Everstones aren't really that expensive, nor are pokémon all the difficult to get, with the Laboratory, DayCare, Gem Collector and Tall Grass [except legendaries, of course, but they don't evolve]

It was a deliberate choice on Riako's part and provides more of a challenge.
