Owlpaw fell over when Ivypaw headbutted him in the belly. He quickly jumped onto his paws again and nodded. "That was good", he said. "I would like to see Tigerpaw trying it, too", he added and looked at Shellspecke. "Would it be alright if I battled Tigerpaw as training so she can try to land a hit with that trick in a more battle-like situation?"

Koipaw woke up from her long sleep and stretched, licking her paw. "Should I go find Ravenfeather or..." Koipaw thought of sleeping again but shook it off, getting up.

Tigerpaw glanced at Owlpaw, and got to her paws. "Of course you and I could practice fight" she said with a nod "if we'll become warriors we'll need all the experience we can get"

Owlpaw nodded. "That's right", he said. In the exact moment when he stopped talking, he jumped at Tigerpaw with all his weight and tried to push her over.

Ivypaw yiped and raced off to the side, watching the fight intently. She watched every movement, trying to get information off of the other apprentices.

Tigerpaw was unbalanced by the move before she could fall over, she dug her claws into the ground, and slowed herself. She then spun on the apprentice, and tried to use his force to knock him back.

Owlpaw wasn't expecting that move by Tigerpaw and was distanced from her by it. He landed on his paws, however, and waited for Tigerpaws next move. He knew that he was telling Ivypaw not to do that, but it was also a kind of strategy. He would wait for an opportunity to land a hit.

Tigerpaw flicked an ear, and looked at Owlpaw. She then ran toward Owlpaw, and batted a paw at the other apprentice, she aimed for his flank as she did with Ivypaw.

(Sorry double post, but the roleplay kinda died, and I waited a few days to bump it up)

Tigerpaw froze in confusion as Owlpaw didn't react. She then flicked an ear, and looked at the other apprentice cautiously. "Err" she meowed confused, and glanced at the other apprentice.

(SORRY OMG, my notifications didn't show that someone posted here!)

Owlpaw started moving when the others were looking at him in confusion, and in the next moment he was under Tigerpaw. He pushed his body up with all his strength to try to throw Tigerpaw over.

Tigerpaw squeaked in shock, and fell onto her back. She was now out of breath, the orange apprentice then shook her head in an attempt to clear it.

Owlpaw turned around instantly and put his paws on Tigerpaws throat. "Never let your guard down", he said before he took them away again. "Are you alright?", he added then and let her get up again. They didn't directly practice the move he showed before yet, but a real battle would have been over now. He wasn't sure if Tigerpaw would attack him now or think the practice battle was over, so he stayed cautious.

Tigerpaw rolled off her back, and onto her paws. "Nice battle" she meowed kindly, and shook the dust from her pelt. "I'll be fine" she meowed, and licked a paw, and drew it over her ear and unruffled some fur. She then looked over to Shellspeckle "now what?" she asked her mentor warmly.

"Well, we could do some more hunting." Shellspeckle suggested. "I'd like to see how well Ivypaw and Owlpaw can hunt."

Tigerpaw nodded "okay" she said and looked around the forest. She then parted her jaws to see which way was the best way to go in order to hunt.

Tigerpaw looked over, and sensed Ivypaw's nervousness. "You'll be fine" she purred to the younger apprentice. "I'm sure we can catch the most prey DesertClan has ever seen" she mewled with a smile.
