Well, this thread consists in say what were your first shinies in the official games.

My first Shiny was a Rhyhorn in the Safari in Pokémon Red Fire (I'm sorry because he fled T_T)

My second was a Tentacool in Emerald (still have it and I love it ^^)

My third was a Rhydon in Diamond xD (this compensates the lost Rhyhorn...), I evolved it to Rhyperior

My fourth was a Muk in Green Leaf, and a minutes later, appeared a Shiny Raticate o_O (my fifth)

Finally, my sixth. Was a Wingull in Emerald. Now is a lovely Pelipper :)

I have gotten many shinies. Especially since in the games I bred tons of pokemon. But my two favorites are a shiny eevee and a shiny Arcanine.

In Pokémon Black 2, I caught my first shiny, a Sewaddle.. now, it's staying in
one of my Pokémon Boxes at the Pokémon Center. When I've found my second shiny, a Rattata, I made it faint.. Lol. I really underestimated that one-shot "Tackle" attack. :P

I won the "Event Spriting Contest" as it says on News Announcement #224.

First shiny was a random Floatzel in Diamond. I only knew it was shiny because it did the sparkle thing, but it looked the same as any other Floatzel... I was totally confused, but I caught it.

Anything else I caught shiny used a Action Replay cheat. I lost the game and had to restart when I ended up in a Mystery Zone (black area when you wander too far into the trees where the game isn't coded) that claimed it was Hearthome city, played the pokemon center music, and claimed I couldn't use Fly there. I was stupid and save the game, because I didn't want to loose the Darkrai I had just cheated to get. ^^U No other shinies for me. I'm not that lucky.

In my Platinum version, I was chaining Pichu I believe in that one garden. A Bonsly happened to break my chain, but what do you know? That Bonsly was actually shiny xD I was happy to find a random shiny and I caught it c:

In White 2, I'm currently chaining Numel and I have hatched around 150.
In Black, I'm chaining Sableye and I have hatched 80-90 of them so far. ^^

First one was a random Rattata in Silver; what happened to Mituna happened to me too, especially because Gameboy Pocket = no color xD Second was a Miltank in HG. Whatever other shinies I have were RNGed; I think I only did Vulpix and Charmander though xD

Sadly I haven't been that lucky with random Shinies yet. I only found like 4 or so.

My first one was a Shiny Swinub on my Crystal version. Back then, I didn't knew anything about Shiny Pokémon at all, so I though it was frozen or something but caught it anyway.

The second one was a Shiny Buizel on my Perl version which I traded for a Shiny Ralts.
I also found a Shiny Pinsir on that same version.

Last but not least was a Shiny Snubbull on my Platinum version. I was actually chaining Snubbull but I didn't get the Shiny as a result of this chain, it actually was a random one breaking that damn chain, haha.

Other than that mentioned, I have a few Shiny Pokémon from the PokéRadar. Only easy ones, though, I'm not that good working with the Radar. ^^"

Silver

Crystal
- Shiny Jigglypuff

Ruby
- Shiny Zubat (evolved to Crobat)
- Shiny Wurmple (evolved to Dustox)

Emerald
- Shiny Poochyena (evolved to Mightyena)
- Shiny Shroomish (evolved to Breloom)

I had no more luck with random Shinies since Fire Red and Leaf Green... D:

Diamond:
Abomasnow - I named her Snow. I was very pleasantly surprised when I caught her, because not only was she my first Shiny, but I caught her on my birthday! Sadly, I have absolutely no idea where that Diamond game is...

HeartGold:
Gyarados - From the Lake of Rage. (Not a random Shiny, but the one that everyone is given the chance to catch.)
Murkrow - It was in the Safari Zone. It ran away. I was so mad.

White 2:
Dratini (now a Dragonair) - From Benga, as a reward for clearing the White Treehollow.

I don't have any more Shinies, but I recently got Platinum, so I'll be able to use the PokéRadar once I beat the game! I intend to use it to find a Shiny Nidoran (either gender), which I will then transfer forward to my White 2 and eventually to Y, when it comes out. I'll also try to get other Shinies to transfer through to Y, so I can have a Shiny army! >:D

Only random shiny I ever got legitimaly was a Pidgeotto und Route 43. :>

I got a random shiny Numel in Platinum near the volcano :3 (I forgot what it's called xD) I'm surprised people manage to get so many o.o

i've got in pearl a shiny bidoof
in black a scraggy(male owo)
in white do soft-reset and got zekrom xD

@-Max: Actually, Black and White are specially coded so that Reshiram and Zekrom (and possibly Victini, though I'm not sure) will never be Shiny. I haven't gotten confirmation about B2W2, though - are you sure it wasn't Black 2 where you got Shiny Zekrom?

I've only had it happen once and it was in HG it was a shiny Spearow :P
Now it is in my Black as Fearow =p ready to be transferred to Black 2 when I get around to it

First and last one was a random shiny Vulpix in LeafGreen, I think. Caught it on my first try with a normal PokéBall, which I panicked over because I was trying to hurry and didn't go down to select my MasterBall. I remember almost having a heart attack (or so it seemed to 12 year old me at the time) and then having that unclenching feeling of relief. Phew! Best but also scariest moment in a Pokémon game, for me.

i'm not ganna count my 2 red gyaradoses on my platinum that i got from my soulsilver

my first EVER shiny was a shiny clefary *shouts at shiny*(WHY COULD YOU NOT HAVE BEEN SOMETHING I ACTAULLY LIKE)

My first shiny was a Buneary in either Pearl or Platinum. I forgot which. I was so mad at my team, cause they killed it before I could catch it. T.T
