Note/disclaimer: this is loosely based on a video game called, Psychonauts. The plot is based on the video game, but it will have a Pokemon twist. You're not required to have played this game in order to join, and if you haven't I highly reccomend it. This roleplay isn't literate I don't mind grammer errors here and there all I ask is if it's readable. So please if you want perfect grammar in your roleplays you join please don't. I'm sorry to say that I'm not the best grammarian and I don't want to start a war over a misplaced comma.

Rules:

Please don't spam, or waste comments
Pokemon can speak human if you'd like your Pokemon to
Be kind to other role players. They have a right to be roleplaying as much as you do.
No power playing, over powered abilities, or legendary Pokemon for your special Pokemon.
All special Pokemon can be only psychic, ghost, dark, or poison.
You may have one other Pokemon as a companion who came with you from home, again no legends.
Please don't get upset if the roleplay gets busy and you're left behind, recaps are available upon request, but if you just stop posting for no reason then please wait until we figure out what happened.
Only legends are the cabin guardians. Which are the cabin names. There's Lugia cabin, Yveltal cabin, and Mew cabin.
There are no limit to characters it depends in how many you can control.
Pokeheroes rules apply.

Plot: In the woods lies a summer camp for special trainers. These trainers have managed to master abilities previously thought to only be harnessed by psychic Pokemon. These abilities include telepathy, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, levitation, and a few more. Though all trainers have a special ability that sets them apart from others, these abilities can only be unlocked when the trainer is in grave danger so the camp activities can get dangerous. In the camp the consolers train the children to control their powers, and to use them in battles to become psychic warriors and aid their Pokemon when it comes time to save the world. Though the time might come sooner, as one of the teachers have gone corrupt and become mad with power. His plan is simple though complex, and needs more time to crack. As you train everyday in camp the threat becomes bigger and bigger as the other campers go missing only to return as mindless zombies. It's now up to a small group of children to crack this mystery and save the world. Sorry if it sounds off was trying to work around a video game plot without giving away too much

Coach Cacti (he is the camp coach and an insane character)
River (levitation teacher and the kindest consoler)
Mist "Agent blue" (the secret agent that can do special training with campers he sees potential in)
Z (the head of camp not Always seen as the head more as a bunch of split personalities that can be in multiple places at once. His main personality stays in his secret lair under ground)

Name: Victor
Age: 10
Looks: A bit tall for his age. He has a birthmark on his right hand, brown eyes, and pitch-black hair.
Wears: A black cap with a flame pattern, a red jacket over a black t-shirt, and a locket with a weird green stone on it.
Special Pokemon: Froakie (it gains a dark type upon evolution, so it counts?)
Companion Pokemon: Charmander
Learnt abilities: none
Special ability: He can control and mould fire. He can use this ability to enhance his psychic powers in the same manner as Delphox, and he can also make prisons out of only fire.
Cabin: Lugia
Home region: Kanto
Other: He has spent a year in the camp, and is nearing the time to recieve his Pokemon.

Name: Sara
Age:10
Looks: Looks almost like Victor, but has waist-length blonde hair, and emerald-green eyes.
Wears: She wears a complete black outfit with detailing a of pink and purple.
Special Pokemon: Umbreon
Companion Pokemon: Treecko
Learnt abilities:none
Special ability: If she can make someone stare in her eyes, she gains the ability to transform into the very person.
Cabin: Mew
Home region: Hoenn
Other: Is Victor's twin. She has a rivalry with Victor, and is a bully.

(Can the characters capture more Pokemon as their journey goes on?)

(I've never played the game but it sounds like an interesting concept for a Pokémon roleplay)

Looks: A blue-eyed, pale-skinned girl of average height with her hair dyed pink. Her hair is styled into twin tails.
Wears: White dress with blue swirl design. Blue and pink scarf. Pink shoes with a ribbon resembling a Sylveon's on top.
Special Pokemon: Meowstic
Companion Pokemon: Sylveon (if it has to be pre-evolved then Eevee)
Learnt abilities: (If characters can't have a learnt ability at the start then ignore this) Telepathy
Special ability: Can change other people and Pokémon's emotions to a certain degree.
Cabin: Lugia
Home region: Sinnoh
Other: She has been part of the camp for a few years now and is quite suspicious about Coach Cacti. She tries her best to look like her Pokémon because they are extremely important to her.

(Alright, but you won't be able to catch the Cyndaquil. You can befriend him, but won't be able to catch him. Sure we ca start now)

Tiger was sitting on a log next to Lion at the camp bond fire he watches the flames as they flickered back and forth. As he did so he heard Snow teasing one of the younger students. "That's why you need to watch out for the monster that lives in the lake. Because if you don't it'll come up, and steal you away along with your Pokemon" he laughed darkly. The young student then began to flinch in fear and cried softly. Tiger blinked and over heard the boy say "I want to go home" through his tears. Tiger then growled and a small fire mouse used a light swift on Snow. "Hey Tiger no attacking campers" Snow said angrily. Tiger just shrugged "well if my Cyndaquil attacks it's not my fault...you shouldn't scare campers like that" he said lowly. Lion nodded "yeah" he said and looked at the scared camper "after all there's no lake monsters"

Victor looked at Snow, and nodded. His starter charmander, Flare looked at snow. It was about time that Victor recieve his Psychic Pokemon. He imagined the possiblities.. Will it be a psychic type, like yanma? Or a ghost, like gengar? Or something truely different?

A new voice spoke as they walked onto a stage that was carved from a dead tree. "Lion is right. There's no need to worry about monsters in the lake" the voice said. Tiger looked up and saw Agent Blue, next to him were River, and Coach Cacti. "Yeah and any trainers caught attacking or scaring other campers will be thrown into the isolation chambers for a week" the coach said in a growl. Tiger then flinched slightly and heard River sigh and reply. "No don't be afraid we haven't used the isolation chambers for years. It's unlawful to use them" she said setting the campers minds at ease. Agent blue then nodded and stepped forward. "Alright we're here today to train and mold your minds into strong psychic warriors. As you may have read on your brochures upon bein enrolled. Though today we're going to go out and find your special Pokemon. These Pokemon will be able to assist you in using psychic powers as well as being helpful for any situation you might need" he spoke. Three special Pokemon were behind the consolers on stage, "as you can see we all have ours" River spoke softly and pointed to a Shiny Greninja, Espeon, and a Banette. "So your first test before you can go to your assigned cabins is to go out in the woods and find your special Pokemon" the coach said lowly. Tiger blinked how will we know when we find them the boy though. Agent blue then looked at Tiger "you'll know" he said hinting at the telepathy ability, "now go out there and good luck" agent blue said lowly dismissing the others.

Victor and Flare looked at each other, and then went out in the woods. They were among the first one, and looked around at the forest Pokemon, and possibly looked around for a psychic or ghost Pokemon. He didn't expect a dark type. He walked forward, and further. He didn't know when he got lost in the forest.

Something suddenly fired a bubble at Victor. "Ouch!" He said. Flare got angry, and used a flamethrower at the Pokemon, which was a Froakie. Froakie fired frubbles at Victor.

Tiger got up, and was pushed over the log by Sky as he and Snow walked past. Lion then sighed and helped Tiger up, "you alright" his friend asked in concern. "Fine" Tiger said softly and got up with the help of Lion. The boy looked over his shoulder at the tree consolers who were chatting between themselves. "Let's go before all the special Pokemon are gone" Lion said getting Tiger out of his thoughts. The boy nodded and followed Lion into the forest.

Victor got hit. "Fight with Pokemon, Froakie!" He said, and tried to check his pokedex if Froakie would qualify as a special Pokemon. He remembered that one of the teacher had Greninja, froakie's evolution.

Suddenly, a Greninja used water shruiken on Froakie, and the Pokemon jumped in defence. Froakie lost his balance and suddenly fell over the cliff.

Tiger walked through the forest, he had lost Lion. The boy then looked at the trees and heard some wild Pokemon growling nearby. He then jumped into a tree without a second thought, as he did he scared a bug like Pokemon out of the tree. Ah watch it the Pokemon said angrily. Tiger then looked around shocked, he hadn't learnt telepathy yet, but that was a telepathic like saying. The Pokemon then froze and flew to Tiger, he flew around the boy. As Tiger tried to make the Pokemon out it then laughed, "heh you're looking for your friend right" it laughed and perched into a branch. Tiger finally recognized it as a Yanma due to there being a few at his home. "Yeah how did you" he began the Pokemon cut him off. "Well I am a psychic Pokemon, kid" he said laughing.

Victor was in deep thought as Froakie let out a cry. I need to save him. After all, I must save all other Pokemon... He thought. Suddenly, his hand began to glow, as if burning. The flame then extended towards the cliff and trapped Froakie. The flame steadily brought Froakie out, and Victor wished that Froakie wouldn't use any moves.

Froakie jumped on the ground. "Thanks, kid. You're a one. You're looking for a Pokemon, right?" He asked.
"Well, yes, but..." Victor said.
"Though I'm a water type, I can transform into any type with my ability, and I evolve into a dark type." Froakie said.

Tiger nodded absent mindedly to the Pokemon. The yanma then landed near the boy, and managed to use a psychic move on the boy. Tiger then saw that the Yanma was seeing the future through a future vision. He saw himself and Yanma fighting a strange force, the pokemon then stopped the move. "Yep you're the kid I'm looking for" he said softly. Tiger blinked "wait you're my special Pokemon" he said softly. The Pokemon nodded, "yep come on" he said and flew deeper into the forest the Yanma used a move that allowed Tiger to see where the Yanma was flying.

Victor looked at Froakie. "What do you mean?" He asked.
Froakie looked at Victor. "I was testing you out all the time..." Froakie said, and a orb of darkness formed near Froakie. It showed Froakie using a combo of dark moves along with Victor's fire.

"You're my special Pokemon?" He asked. Froakie nodded, and did a high five with Victor.

Tiger ran through the forest, he heard the Yanma through telepathy dodge the tree and the rock in the left he said softly. Tiger blinked and nodded he jumped over a tree and a rock. Yanma then stopped dead and used a psychic stopping Tiger from going over the same cliff that Froakie had gone over. "Woops forgot about the cliff" the Yanma said softly and in embarrassment. Tiger looked as he was dropped to the ground he has seen the cliff in front of him, he then noticed Victor and Froakie.

Charmander looked at Froakie. He suddenly levelled up, and felt a strong urge to use flamethrower. He used flamethrower on a tree, enough to burn down the whirl of it.

Tiger sighed and looked at Yanma. "We should find Lion" he said softly. The Pokemon nodded and closed his eyes he then scanned the forest for Lion. "Hmm I think I see him" he said softly and flew back into the forest.

"I sense psychic energy.." Froakie said. "Could you lead us to it?" Victor aske Das he lifted charmander off the burnt tree. The Pokemon was close to reaching level 16. Froakie began to jump around the forest, behind yanma.

Tiger saw a Froakie behind Yanma. The boy then attempted to warn the Pokemon of the Froakie when Yanma flew around Tiger and looked at rhe water Pokemon. "Hello" he said cheerfully to the Froakie flying around him rapidly.
