So, I kinda feel like they should remove the "Your log is too long!" thing on your About Me. Its a really small suggestion, but really, its unescesary not letting you have a big about me. Plus, what if you are a "complicated" person and wants to add a lot of things about you and can't? yeah.

There is a reason for limit - If there was no limit people would abuse it and stretch their about me - possibly using a lot of pictures and gifs too - Which would basically slow down the site and make a lot of lag. So no support from me sorry.

I'm pretty sure that the site wouldn't have lag because the possibility of the about me having more max. characters. It's like saying that the feeds slow down the page, like saying each feed slows down the whole page a little bit, and that doesn't happen.

I support the increase of the max. characters, though I think there should definitely be a limit to it, it shouldn't take much space of the servers, because it's just text ^^

The difference between "feeds" and "About Me"s is that in an About Me, you can post gifs and images, in feeds you can't; you can only link to them, but not directly show them.

While ordinary texts don't have much of an effect on the server, or on the loading time it takes other computers/devices with internet to show them, gifs and images, when used excessively, can have an effect. The bigger the file, the bigger the effect, and you'd only need a couple characters to input the code necessary to show them.

The limit is there for a reason, and one of those reasons is also making sure you simply don't have too big of an about me; if you have a lot to say, maybe it would be better to start a "Diary" in the Forum, and link to it in your "About Me" ;)

Personally, I don't see too big a problem with a slightly bigger About Me, but, as mentioned, the limit is there for a reason, and there is an alternative if you have a lot to say :)
