I am going to suggest this because I'm wondering why it isn't on PH. Shelters! People can release their unwanted pokemon/eggs to the shelter and others can adopt them! Similar to the shelter in PokeFarm!

Also, There could be an adoption limit of 6 and when the time comes around where the love meter is filled and all interactions are doubled you could be able to adopt 12! It could be an easier way to fill your dex, too!

What do you think of this suggestion?

There were lots of suggestions on how to get released Pokemon, however none of them were able to make it because, well, released Pokemon are literally 'deleted' forever. If no-one released Pokemon since the beginning, imagine the amount of Pokemon in the site. It would be gigantic, that's what I think. And also, more Pokemon = more data to store = lag.

You have the GTS and the Auctions to get your Dex filled, which makes this Website really fair.

I have to agree with Book here.

There's the GTS and Auction house to fill up your dex, and there's the GTS forum and feeds where people tend to give others a chance at their unwanted pokemon before they are released.

Honestly, with how many pokemon are hatched and how many are released (such as all the megas that the normal counterparts are pretty common now, who would really want a shelter flooded with them?)

Plus, there's the Tall Grass where the eggs go. And there are other ways to get pokemon from the site as well. I just don't think this is needed.

Its a nice idea, may not be the best but it seems a lot nicer than just letting a pokemon you care about get deleted.

I'm sure you've already been advised about this but,
If you are going to say a suggestion had been suggested, you need to link to it.
Because if not, it means you have no proof it have actually been suggested.

No support from me, Book has already stated what i wanted to say.
But I will add this- A lot of people are into shiny hunting, so they should have a lot of extras, it isn't that hard to ask them for one if they out it in 'Extras' box or the so. You also can set up a thread in the GTS forum searching for the pokemon you want, it's pretty easy, and you can even get trainerpoints with this because you are going to trade the pokemon in GTS.
