I was thinking that we could have a debit card type of concept on Pokèheroes....

Ex. Bill is a newbie here, and he wants to catch pokèmon on Route 53. He doesn't have any items, and only has 2, 100 pokèdollars. Bill needs the explorer bag (2, 500 pd) to get the gems, which he will exchange for honey, and he needs three pokèballs (200 pd each, 600 in total). I'm thinking that with the credit, or whatever you want to call it, Bill can buy the explorer bag and the pokèballs, and when he gains pd via interaction, he pays off his debt. Once all the debt is payed off, the pd Bill earns afterwards goes to his account, like it does now.

Please tell me if you support this or not. If you don't support, I would like for you to give me a reason. (Too complicated, I don't understand why we need this, etc.)

No support, like Autumnstar said it is easy to get money. And not only that I'm sure this could get abused easily just like with real credit cards haha.

Understood. But I was thinking that once some reaches a debt of a certain number, they can not use their credit anymore, until the debt is payed off. Anyway, thanks for the input.

That's a great idea, too. A new enhancement for Premium members would be good.

EDIT: What would happen if their Premium runs out and they went above the regular debt, though?

No support. There are lots of ways to get money already:

By interacting.
When you make an interactions, there is a chance of getting an small amount of Pokédollars.

Selling items at the Item Shop.
You can sell items for Pokédollars at the item shop.

By Rumbling.
You can get Pokédollars as a result of rumble missions.

As a daily reward.
You can get Pokédollars as a prize for coming online daily.

@Diana; Good question...They would have 24 hours after their membership expires to either get a new membership, repay the debt, or their credit card will be locked, and they have to pay off all the debt and wait for three days after they pay it off before they can use their credit again, maybe?

Currently I'm really not in favor of this idea. We do not want to teach children that life is much easier when you take on debt :|
The mentioned stuff in the Item Shop (Explorer Bags, PokéRadar, Egg Radar (Chips)) require that you play some of the features on PokéHeroes before you can afford these.

That's a good point. We certainly don't want to have children get the idea that they can rely on credit cards. But also, if the debt isn't payed back, there is a punishment, like irl. Either way, I respect your opinion, and everyone else's. Is there a way that I make it so that it doesn't glorify debt?
