If we are hunting shinies, bymistake, sometime we take different eggs. At that time, we should have a option to release eggs.

Riako has implemented the Egg Storage to fix those mistakes.
Making 'releasing eggs' a possibility would just render them obsolete.

The eggstorage wouldn't be obsolete, there are still some uses like shiny hunting hard legendaries, but still, that feature would be extremely OP, I mean, you could just get eggs from the lab, and if it's not a Ditto or a Legendary Bird you could just release it.
