I wouldn't say it would be useless. If you notice the egg appearing in the same clump every so often, then most chances you'll be able to catch it in that spot sooner than you would elsewhere.

It has no use, and not a good enough explanation was given to why this should be added (apart from the fact that people should "rage" at it).

Thanks for sharing your opinion. I can however say that this is after all, a minor suggestion. Whether it has a huge use to it or not, I think it could be a small neat addition. Either way, I see no problem this can cause if it is implemented. If you do have some cons in mind, then feel free to share them I guess, since I don't really have any in mind at the moment.

Another use which I can say/quote from the main post, is that some users could potentially spot a pattern/fluke. I know this from an experience of mine from another non-Pokemon game - something a little similar to the tall grass, where you can find something in a certain amount of 'boxes'.
Fading out the correct box actually helped me spot a lucky pattern, so I thought it would be a neat thing to add here.

I wouldn't support it, sure it could be a nice feature but with legendary's... that will be infuriating especially if the egg was next to the patch you clicked.

It would be someones choice to get frustrated or not. I personally would prefer a better con to this, because I'm pretty sure there are some other small things users can get frustrated about here on PH.

For example, the Golden Game Slot. If you're playing in the Legend Mode, and have;
7 - 7 - (Something else)
That would possibly make someone frustrated? If Riako considered this to be such a huge problem (about users getting angry about minor things), then I'm assuming he wouldn't include the animation in the Golden Game Slot.

I'm guessing I can say the same about the Tall Grass.
I'm assuming there could be a option to disable this, but it would be up to Riako to decide about that if he considers implementing this.
