I think we should have a username and an account name to have a higher security level

Ok, I see you replaced the spam with an actual suggestion (good). I actually support this. If you had to put your email in or something anonymous instead of your username, that could make it difficult for a person to manage to get into your account.

An account name? So more users forget their login information and can't access their own account?
I don't quite see the point; everyone is responsible for their own account security. If you have a random password (like "i6dgJ*$62K) then you have a very very strong account security that no one can crack.
However, if you choose "pokemon" as your password, your security is almost zero. That's your own fault then.

I don't see the advantage here - mainly the disadvantage.

is there a reason there needs to be a higher security level? personally, i think it's fine as is - the best security measure you can have is the knowledge to keep your password safe and varied, don't log in on public computers where you don't know how to erase your browsing and password history, and to not give your password to friends or family - because even if they won't get on your account to mess it up, there's always the possibility that they may log on in a public place, forget to erase the history, and accidentally leave your password open for anyone else to access

in cases like that, all the security measures in the world won't help you unless you know how to keep your password completely to yourself, and in that case it's not even an issue with the site security
