Gonna guess all the popular users are gonna get the shiny ones bc i doubt the less popular ones will get levels that quickly .w.; ah well, can't hurt to try for one of the 27 normal furfrou right?

Just a question-
for this contest/event, would breeding a mareep to get it's eggdex entry break your chain?

I don't have a male mareep/flaafy/ampharos (all of mine are females) but I'm still asking :b

No, Mareep doesn't break your chain - neither from the tall grass, nor from the daycare, the lab or wherever you might find a Mareep egg.

Gothbutter, I think they just made it so any Mareep egg won't break your chain, but only Mareep eggs from Tall Grass will count towards the contest.

In other words, any Electric egg at the Daycare is going to instantly disappear. XD

For it to count for the contest it needs to come from the tall grass, BUT you can hatch Mareep obtained from anywhere and it's not going to break the chain. I guess this is so that people can get the eggdex entry to participate

Would buying an egg from the gem collector count as "somewhere you would get a mareep egg"? Because I have enough electric gems and I'm afraid that it will break my chain (me being crazy here)
