Sign-ups!


Startup:
All MASTERS will start at the top of what is known as the pit. It is a ten-foot-tall pit that is normally used for when an old family power is challenged. Today, however, it is being used for the monthly auction. This, as indicated, happens monthly and how many masters received slaves. Up at the very front is two thrones where the queens of hell, Alpha and Nyx, sit.

SLAVES are waiting in an off chute at the bottom of the pit to be dragged out and sold. In front of you is a woman with tentacles replacing her legs and she holds a clipboard and pen.


Roxanne bounced slightly as she stared down into the pit trying to see the slaves while her ear twitched as she heard the auctioneer calling everyone around. She looked around a bit as she spied her friend Rebeka also trying to steal a peak.


Night shivered and stared at the woman in front of them. "Alright everyone settle down. When I call your name, please walk forward so you can be lead to the center of the pit!" The woman yelled in a nasily tone.

"Lead my butt." Angel snorted from Night's left. "More like dragged."

Violet rolled her eyes at Roxanne "Could she act any more childish..." She grumbled under her breath, using her shadow manipulation to grab the demonesses ankle, keeping her from jumping anymore.



"A-Angel, you should just listen." Cat said quietly as she shivered.

Leonidas sighed glaring at Night in annoyance hands fingers rubbing his empty sockets. How did this happen? How could she hurt the family name so much? And once again he had to bail her out. By golly he was going to make her work hard.

Sally simply say not trying to get any more attention than needed. How could this happen to her?

Roxanne looked around for the person preventing her from jumping and shrunk when she spotted Violet. "S..Sorry." She mumbled out before looking to the auctioneer as he called for everyone's attention.

The auctioneer would have been just like a cowboy from the old west if it wasn't for the fact that half his head was missing. "A word from our Queens!" He called before stepping out of the way for Nyx and Alpha.

"Hello. We like to thank every pure demon for coming out here to give half-breeds a chance to live. As many of you know when we ordered the decree that all half-bloods must have a pureblood master many were hunted down and killed. The few that are left are quite sacred to us now and we do hope that you will do them and the decree right and protect them as should they should be. Once again thank you." The shorter of the two queens said. This was Nyx. She was considered the more innocent one of the queens.

"With that said, let the auctions begin." The taller queen, Alpha, called out in a more commanding tone.



"Protect us my bum." Angel snarled before quietly hissing as the one who dragged them out tightened the chain on her.

"Alright. May Night come forward!" The woman called out checking off Night's name from a list she had.

Night gulped. "Wish me luck." She mused before walking/being dragged forward to the center of the pit where the bid started at fifty thousand gold.

"One million gold and if anyone dare bid higher I challenge them to a fight for Night where there will be no mercy." Leonidas boomed looking at her. "You've brought shame on our family. If someone else bought you what would poor mother and father think?"

"Wow, you're quite rude, don't you think you should be more fare? Two million gold for her." Violet said, glaring at Leonidas "fight me if you wish." she said, holding a hand up as if she was to snap her fingers.

Nyx sighed. "I was hoping fighting could be avoided but alright Leonidas I will do so. Only rule I state is no death."

"Who would want her for a mutt anyway? No good at breeding that one from what I heard." A random demon muttered.

Roxanne hummed. "I..I raise the bid to th..three million!" She called.



Night was busy trying not to panic. Oh shadows, oh shadows.

"Could you shout less? You might rip your vocal cords, my good sir." Violet said, not fazed by Leonidas' attitude and glared at Roxanne "Sweetie, leave this to us, I wouldn't want you to be hurt because of your need to be involved."

Chloe listened carefully and shuddered as she heard the voices of the higher classes bidding already.

Levi looked down but stayed silent, giving a glare to the halfbloods below.

Magnolia stayed silent as she leaned against a railing to peer down into the pit, her pupils shrunken to thin slits and hissed softly.
boring lookin' she thought.

Dusk coward in a corner hugging his legs, whimpering softly to himself.

(i'm gonna be somewhat slow, keyboard is messed up so, yeah)

she soon turned her gaze back to down below, keeping an eye out for a half-breed that interested her.

Nyx sighed in relief as it seemed like blows were not going to happen. She smiled and nodded as Alpha leaned over and whispered in her ear.



Night looked toward the other halfbreeds that were waiting before having her head forcibly yanked back to its original position. "All ya are is a mutt. Worth maybe a pence if lucky." The demon grumbled.

"Well this is an interesting auction." Angel grumbled to those who were also waiting.

"Fine." Violet said then turned to Magnolia "You're really threatening me? wow, that's cute." She snickered but her tone was ice cold, the shadowy fog coming from her dress lashing around like terrified animals, trying to get away.

"Not all of us like being called mutts... I actually perrrfer feline." Cat mumbled, just loud enough for the demon near night to hear "I'm named cat for a reason."

Nyx and Alpha nodded to the auctioneer. "Four million going once..going twice..SOLD!"


Night sighed before yelping and nearly falling as she was lead to a different off chute.


"Next up is Dusk!" The woman called.



(Sorry if it seems like the focus is on a few users. I am doing the ones where both sides are online.)
