Sign-Ups!

It's the year 2117, months after the Crowling Island Tournament, in the war ravaged city of Muercia, the Dark Lord has sent his army to expand his reign. It's up to the heroes of the story to protect the innocent, or side with the Dark Lord.

Kyoto and Luke arrived on the scene, looking at smoke billowing from the center of town. "Jeez, what'd they do to this place? This city used to be a beautiful metropolis..." Luke looked out the window.

"From my knowledge, this is where the Dark Lord was gonna put one of his largest outposts yet. If we can take it down before things get any worse, the world might be okay." Kyoto continued driving, keeping his main focus on the smoke and explosions sounding from around the city.

Jax woke up to the sound of an explosion not another one he thought. He emerged from out of his motel room and looked down the road seeing fire.

Rosslin came out of the room next to him "We should go help." she said nudging him

"And expose ourselves, no thanks. We've concealed them this whole time, we shouldnt show them now." Jax said angrily.

Then there was an explosion behind them.

Rosslin sighed "Fine. But think of all the lives we could be saving." she said trying to guilt him in to helping.

Kyoto stopped the truck, and hopped out, "Road's blocked, we're gonna have to walk from here."

Luke looked around, jumping out of the truck through the window, "First Crowling, now this? Unreal... The Dark Lord has no mercy when it comes to ruling the universe, does he?"

Kyoto sighed, looking at the horizon, a dark smoky black. "Afraid not... Come on, let's look around, maybe we can find a few survivors."

Rosslin shouted at the people she saw get out of the truck "Are you guys special?"

Jax grabbed her by the mouth and stared at them, knowing he had been exposed. He was livid.

Kyoto looked at the two strangers blankly, noticing the young girl in the hold she was in, he instinctively sparked his aura. "I suggest you let her go, or else I'll have to show you what for!"

Luke readied himself, "Special? I'm guessing you mean Flayer, and yeah, we are! Friend or foe?" The two brothers kept a concentrated glare on those in front of them.

Jax let her go because she started gnawing on his hand.

“Friend” they both have said in tandem

Rosslin ran over with her speed and Jax formed a pool of water to carry him on the ground, his hair turning blue in the process.

Kyoto and Luke let up, "So, how'd you get stuck here, a citizen or passer-by?" Kyoto observed the two, his focus turned to the Night Demon. "So, you're one of those speedy ones? Luke, did you see her move?"

Luke shook his head, "Not really. Just barely. So, that means she's a Night Demon?"

Kyoto nodded, looking at the blue-haired stranger. "Aqualie, been awhile since I've seen one of you. Actually, since Crowling." He held out his hand, his blue aura surrounding it, "I'm Kyoto, this is my brother Luke. We're here to help the town, what about you guys?"

"What did you call me? Aqu- Aqualie? What in the world is that?" Jax asked, his hair turning back to his normal brow/black color.

"Aqualie, it's a type of Flayer. Something tells me you're not very... informed of your race, so to speak." Kyoto sighed.

Luke chuckled slightly, "Allow me to explain." He enveloped his entire arm in electricity, "I have the ability to create electricity, I'm the type of Flayer they call Shocker."

Fox walks up to them, his face covered with a small layer of ash. “About time somebody showed up, I was beginning to think that I was the only one left.” He wipes the ash from his face, as he gets closer and closer. “Then again, I wouldn’t expect anybody to show themselves to anybody, especially with the threat that comes from being exposed.”
Of course, fox didn’t know who they were, and yet he walks up to them, greeting them like friends. Why am I walking up to them, what if they are the enemy? he thinks. While he thinks he slows, making himself seem more hesitant.

Luke's attention whipped to the newcomer, "You, friend or foe, and was it you making these explosions? I'd hate to fight in a spot with literally no cover." He prepared a defensive stance. "You must be a Flamer, I feel an intense amount of heat coming from your body."

Luke smiled, "How long has it been since we met a Hybrid bro?"

"Not very long, I know it feels like an eternity while we traveled here." Kyoto chuckled, "So, lemme get the story straight, you're all here to try to help the city out huh?"

"Yea, one of the things worked at a store and i had to go real bad, so i used my speed to get in there and he noticed and reported me to who ever is behind this. To bad Jax killed him." Rosslin said guiltily

Jax heard someone running up behind him and turns around. The man points a gun at him. Rosslin uses her telekinesis and knocks the gun out of his hand while Jax sets his clothes on fire, sending the man running, his hair also turning red in the process. "That happens alot."

"I have mind powers to, by the way." Rosslin says with as grin.

"Well, yall can have fun standing here chatting, I'm gonna go put out the fire." Jax said, making a pool of water float him very quickly to the fires, he than sprayed them with his Aqualie powers, putting a majority of them out.
