"He seems pretty impatient." Luke said with a sigh, "Anyway, we were sent here to try to deal with a problem, we heard the Dark Lord was putting up an outpost, but it seems the feds may be trying some new stunt too."

Kyoto nodded, "And while we're stuck cleaning up their messes, the Resistance is facing backlash for the big accident a few weeks back. Y'know, the one where six humans died in an explosion?"

"I get that," Luke said, "We have a partner in the Resistance like that. We call him Maine. He doesn't say a lot but he's a brute, actually, I think he's about as tall as Jax. I'm not sure."

Kyoto studied Jax, his techniques, the way he dispersed the water, "Something like that..."

Jax continued to use his water to put out the fire. Slowly shooting water out of his hands, almost like an extra powerful hose.

"What was that?" Rosslin said, to them after she saved everyone from the buildings.

Kyoto snapped back to reality, "Huh? Oh nothing, just studying how coordinated you both are with your powers. Have you lived with them your whole life?"

Luke looked at Kyoto, then back to Rosslin, "Have you unlocked any, 'accidental' powers? Like, something that knocked you out for a certain period of time, days or even weeks?"

"No, we actually just got them, we woke up to gunshots and it just sorta happened. And to answer your question nope. I did steal a lollipop from a baby once, though. I gave it 4 back though because i felt so bad." Rosslin said with a grin. She watched Jax's elegance as he put out the fires. "I guess he is pretty good at it."

Hadrian and Venom smirked at each other. Hadrian sped to a shadow near the group, He grinned as he sped to a different shadow.


Venom started making the ground rumble a bit under the group.

Jax's Water tower started to shake as he was descending. "WHOMST" He said when he got to the group. "Rosslin, run me over there and ill deal with em, if you help." Jax said.

Fox hears a massive crash, as a building collapses in on itself from the flames. Really glad i’m not in that building. Though, it is sad that some people probably died in that building, too late to save them though he feels the ground shake, but stands still. “Um, interesting conversation you chaps are having, but why is the ground shaking? Any of you have any earth manipulation powers?”

Kyoto shot up, and looked around frantically, "No one was in those buildings, but we have someone trying to flank us." His aura sparked a dark blue, as he prepared a defensive stance.

Luke readied his fists, sparks of electricity flowing from his knuckles, "I think I saw something move..."

Hadrian sped past again, This time a faint laugh could be heard.


Venom moved his fingers up and geysers started shooting out of the ground under the group. Venom was still hidden

Hadrian smirked as another night demon came at him, He dashed to the side then turned around and zoomed past her as if he were trying to trick her.


Venom put his fingers down as the geysers weakened.

(@Peggy, Venom hasn’t been revealed so your character can’t know that’s he here, and go after him at the same time)

"Right, one gravity storm, coming right up!" Kyoto focused his energy into the atmosphere, forcing gravity in the area to grow heavier.

Rosslin kept running in a circle, if she was chasing notheing, it was to protect her friends, then she ran into something, knocking both of them over.

Jax realized he had grabbed a random citizen. he then floated back over to the group., forming a water sheild around them.

“Eh, Well I guess the jig is up” Hadrian said as he stood up from running into the girl. He laughed as he felt the gravity grow heavier.


Venom raised his fingers and the ground under Hadrian shot up and he stood on the floating piece of land.

Fox, who apparently has a very slow reaction in this scenario, finally goes into a fighting stance. Flames ripples around his hands and cool things that should’ve happened 10posts ago finally happen. He looks at the water shield.
He decides to ask a very dumb, but logical question. “Quick question, what good is this shield to us if they can literally go right through it in every aspect, I mean, it’s water, not exactly the most solid object. And, we don’t even know who this person is, or what they can do. For all we know, they’re on this side of the shield, waiting for the right moment to strike us all down at once.”
