Saz shakes her head, but there's a slight smile on her face. "Ah, no, kid. Humans never really die out. Every angel knows that, every angel sees that. Sure, details are hazy without knowing the outcomes of certain events, but I can see it very clearly. The ability to look into the past, speculate about the future, that helps humans. Your time in the universe stretches on and on, longer than most of our own."

Melody hums at that before chuckling at the obscurity of her situation.Here she was having a philosophical conversation with an angel.If someone told her last week this is what she would be doing she would suggest they move into the nearest mental hospital.

"Ok, Sazilee. It's time to see exactly how capable you are with that stolen power of yours." Lyn says as she walks back into the room. This time, there's a boy with her, no older than 11 or so, with doe-like brown eyes, tan skin, and ruffled dark brown hair. The boy seems scared, frightened, by the sight of Saz and Michael, but Lyn has a firm hold on his upper arm. The shorter angel smiles, popping a bubble before reaching for the little boy's hand. He pulls away at first, but her long fingers manage to grab his smaller ones anyways. She holds his hand, pressed between two of her own. "Hello, Talli."
Talli swallows, but replies. "Hello Sazilee, youngest of all the Haven-born, angel of potential." He says, then glances at the taller male. "Hello Michaelikane, first of the Faethe, angel of the soldier." Saz laughs. "Dad above, he really does know everything! When was the last time I died?" "Exactly one year ago from today, stabbed in the neck by Monji while in a Cage designed specifically for you. Your dad brought you back, even though you're still not sure why." Talli replies. "Stars..." Michael mutters.

"Eriaaeh jilien. Translate." Saz says, and Talli pauses for a moment. It almost seems like he's going to shrug but then he answers. "Rolling hills of blessed earth." Saz smiles even wider, showing off slightly pointed teeth. "This kid is a miracle. I'm going to have to be careful to avoid erasing anything else, but I believe I can do it. This might feel a little weird, ok, Talli?" The kid nods, and Saz glances back at Michael. "Once I start using my powers, Monji will be able to-" "I know." The small angel looks back at Talli for a second, then closes her eyes. There's a few moments of silence, then Saz opens her eyes again as Talli's roll back into his head, and the angel catches him. "There, he'll be fine in a few hours. Won't even remember getting his hand burned off. He may be a bit wary around Ziu for a while, but it'll fade quickly."

Saz hands the small boy to Lyn. "Cassie will probably want to check him out soon, do some actual mind-exploring, but she's busy currently with Casper, so that might be a while. I suppose you're going to make me leave now." Lyn gasps, mockingly. "Oh, how did you know? Get out and don't come back. I won't ask twice." Saz smiles slightly, amused. "It was nice to meet you, Melody. And, just so you know, if you ever need me, don't be afraid to ask Laefi how to find me." She turns, motioning with her hand for Michael to follow her, and walks out the door, disappearing soon after with the taller angel.
