This thread is where my friend and I will be posting ideas and discussing ideas (so we don't lose them in pal pad) for various things. Take a look through if you want, but we'd appreciate it if you wouldn't post please and thank you! :)

For the current RP
Show hidden content
A truth or dare session leading to compromising situations or secrets being revealed about pasts or other things.

For other RPs
Show hidden content
A blind child gets lost and wanders into the forest and stumbles upon a dragon (could be Eona and Drayce's offspring or could be Eona herself or just an entirely different dragon) and the dragon basically adopts the child and they live together for a long time. But nothing good ever lasts, and without bad stuff the story wouldn't be very good, so along comes a war between someone and someone, and dragons are either hired or recruited into helping fight the war, or their fighting against the human(oid)s.

A pack of werewolves "adopts" this werecat because the werecat heard one of the wolves howling in pain as it was stuck in a trap and the cat helped what it thought was a wolf get out, and when the cat turns around the entire pack is there and it either faints or tries to escape, and then there's this big chase and once they catch the cat it's hilarious to the wolves and it turns out that the cat is female, and all of the wolves are male and she is referred to as kitty or cute feline names. All of the wolves are like her brothers and she joins their pack and whenever cat goes into a nearby town at least two of the wolves go with her shadowing her to make sure she stays safe. Eventually they all need to move because of wolf hunters moving into the area, and so they have to travel long distances sometimes through other pack territories. Cat can also be taken for a zoo/circus and the wolves have to rescue her. (And friends she's made there?)

This girl goes out and buys some pads for her period and they have this pretty design on them and she thinks nothing of it. While she's using the potty she throws out the pad and this demon appears in her bathroom because the symbol is actually an ancient symbol of summoning. But since the blood is dead her soul is safe. However, this demon is now bound to her and they have to figure out how to break the bond all the while having to play boyfriend and girlfriend (or whatever gender combo we want) because the demon can't return to Hell because the ritual was done improperly.
Inspiration

These "powered" people being auctioned off (either by aliens or someone else) as slaves or as fighters. They are shown off by various means. Some, like shapeshifters (I totally call one of these), which have just one form to shift into but can control exactly how much they shift, are displayed via pit fights. Sometimes with other shifters, or against bots. There are a couple of ways this could go. One way is that a rich family buys X number (including the shapeshifter) as body guards for the children. From then on it's about the powered peoples adjusting to that lifestyle and learning about things, and the various adventures they have along the way.

And then the super hero one we were discussing in google docs.

A supernatural story based in Venice or some city with waterways like that so you can have mermaids. These creatures would rule the city at night and be mostly out then. Lot of vampires, old families and riches, Elvin people.

Twins separated at birth but sent through time, potentially space as well. Powers are a potential.

stealing this from a manga I read recently

Characters are stuck in a time-loop and need to break out of it by figuring out what their "mission" is, according to a wish someone made against them positively (ie, can't kiss anyone but the person they love; lets someone live instead of planning to kill them, etc)

Just found this one.

It'd be interesting to have little conversations between them and see how the presence of the monster under the bed changes her life dynamic... For instance, how about the time she has a sleepover with friends in her room and things start getting out of hand in a game of truth or dare? How about her father trying to get rid of the monster? What about her mother? What does the monster think of her? How do they get along?

A mythological RP. Aurora we'd talked about this one, but I got another idea thing while watching the original Clash of Titans (with Ray Harryhausen effects).

Obviously what we'd talked about, the blind person stumbling into Medusa's lair and the blind person apologizing profusely about knocking something over and Medusa just being completely confused until she sees the blindness and so on and so on. The idea I had was that we could have these and other characters go on quests that follow the myths. Sort of like a retelling of them in a way. Perhaps our characters would go along with the heroes, but either something happens to them or they have been killed and our guys have to go on without them? Then we could use different characters for each myth or whatever we so choose... Anyways, that's an idea...

Love this! I would love to do a fox and the hound retelling but the fox be a kitsune. Maybe a shapeshifter werewolf or hound for the hound. Any sort of fairy tale or myth retelling, sign me up for it!

Oh goodness! That opens so many doors!!!!

(Edit)

Radiation

RP about a group of people (researchers and soldiers) who are sent to Pripyat (near Chernobyl), and find signs of life... Life that's not normal... Like mutated animals... And something that seems to have dug a really, really big tunnel...

They set up a remote control vehicle with a mounted camera, and they send it down into the tunnel, and it comes into a long tunnel, with an intersecting one along it. It's moving ahead at a slow steady pace, when something big crosses its path at the intersection.

But the light from the robot isn't strong enough to have given a good image of it.

So it moves a little closer

Then, what looks like a head peaks out of the intersection at the robot (which stops)

And they sit like that for a few moments before the head pulls back and disappears. The speakers pick up the sound of something sniffing after a few minutes of the robot just sitting there. Whatever it was moved around behind the robot via another tunnel.

We then see a horribly disfigured leg step into the light from the side of the camera's view since the creature is moving around the robot.

Then the creature moves into view and it looks like a huge wolf, but no fur, another set of arms, smaller, more human like made for manipulation, and the claws are proportionate with the size of the paws which are as big as a human head.

The head of the creature is like a dog's, but no fur, and the soft nose part seems to have caved in slightly so it looks more like a skeletanized version...

And the eyes actually glow, but they look intelligent.

Then it opens it's maw, and for a split second, a terrific sound screams across the mic, causing the ears of the person wearing the headphones to bleed, and it simply hurts the others' a great deal, and the sound and video shut off as the creature bites the robot.

They end up going down there to retrieve the robot (because the scientists need the data that it gathered and because it was flipping expensive), and they find it was dragged further into the tunnels, so they go looking for it, following a trail of fluid that came from said robot, and when they find it, it's a huge pile of scrap.

And from there they have to find their way out, and survive because night has fallen, and the creatures have moved out to hunt. They somehow survive the night with only a couple casualties (maybe one or two) and some injuries (someone can lose a limb), but they also have to survive against the rest of the wildlife while they try to get back to the pullout point.

On the way back to the rendezvous, they come across a trail of footprints. Human footprints, much too small to be a full grown adult. They follow the footprints and end up going deeper into the irradiated wasteland. They come to a convenience store and spread out, and a sound from a maintenance closet brings them all to the back. Inside they find a child.

Child looks normal with the exception of having eyes that reflect the light.

After testing the scientists find that the child can't leave the radiation or else will die.

The child escapes the group and is then followed even further into the wasteland, and they come upon an old house that was falling apart. They go through the house and find nothing. Except in the basement. In the basement they find a trapdoor. The trapdoor opens into a set of stairs.

They go down and find themselves in a cave system where an entire civilization of children and teens live, all suffering from varying degrees of affection from the radiation. They've learned how to survive from the books in the library, and from mistakes of others of their group that are no longer with them.

Food is grown via bio-luminescent fungi, and water comes from an underground spring.

(I know, double posting, but I don't care.)

Adding to the Venice idea, or an idea on its own, an adoption clinic (animals or semi humans) for mythological creatures.

Sort of a "in another place but same time" type of thing, in more rural or unexplored places of the world we can still have adventuring type things with these ideas.

And this idea for another superhero type story because I flipping love it.

AND for a space-age type adventure thing also because awesome.
