Ivan woke up from his bed by his alarm clock. He got up, switched to his casual clothes, and stormed downstairs.

His parents were downstairs, with his breakfast ready. As they began to ate, they discussed a few things first.

Benny walked down the street admiring the views. He would stop here or there taking pictures. Soon though, he was lost. He turned left and right trying to remember the directions.

Dea woke up to the sound of some bird pokemon chirping outsde her window. SHe immediately changed into her casual clothes and went downstairs. She saw her parents enjoying breakfast and she sat down to eat with them while discussing about the professor calling her to the lab before going.

Emma ran out the door, excited. She had just finished breakfast, and was really happy about getting a Pokemon. Her shoelaces were untied as she had been in a hurry to get out the door, but Emma didn't care-after all, there were more important things to do right now, like finding her way to Alder's lab.

Benny stopped a passerby and asked her if she knew where Professor Alder's lab is. The kind woman directed him. He thanked her and ran off following the directions of the woman. His stomach felt full of butterflies; he was really excited!

Ivan finished talking and also his breakfast. Grabbing his bag, he stormed outside, and it was nothing like Alola. He began to walk to the Lab.

Benny stood outside the lab; a small building with ancient stone-work. The elm wood door was worn, due to the many years of children pushing it open. He stood there, uncertain.

After several minutes of confusion, Emma managed to find the lab. It was small, and decorated with intricate patterns carved into the stone walls. The door was made of wood, which was clearly old and had been pushed by many people over the years.

Emma walked up to the door, and began to push it open, when she noticed someone else looking at the door.

"Hey, who are you?" she asked, bluntly.

Benny stared at the girl, his mouth open. "I-I'm..." Benny was cut off as Professor Alder, a woman of middle age, opened the door and exclaimed, "Oh! The children are starting to arrive! How exciting, come in, come in!" She beckoned Benny and the girl in.

Hang on. Ivan forgot something on his house. Good thing it came flying after him.

"Yo, pal, you almost forgot me!" A Rotom Dex says, and Ivan looks at his screen. There was a flag on where the lab is. Ivan rushed to it with the Dex.

Kioiki woke up and realised that she was late therefore she rushed to the bathroom to freshen up and then grabs her bag and run towards the lab. " Gotta be fast ! " she thought to herself as she increased her speed.

Professor Alder led him to a back room where some pokéballs were out on display. Benny looked at them, his stomach lurching, but Professor Alder led him to some chairs. "Lets wait till some others come." She told him.
