"Sit down children!" Professor Alder commanded, looking at Kioiki. "I will call your name and you will choose a pokémon that will be your first traveling buddy. I have the names of the pokémon in front of the pokéball. First, Kioiki." She told them sternly.

Ivan grabbed the Froakie Pokeball. He whispered "Ryan" before throwing him out of his Pokeball.

"Ooooh! Say, this one guy seems kinda different from his kind...but that's cool!" Rotom said.

"Ok..." Professor Alder murmured. "Benedict!" She then announced looking up from her clipboard.

Benny stood up, his knees shaking. He shuffled over to the table and his eyes skimmed over the pokéballs that remained. His eyes rested on Popplio. He picked up the pokéball and told Professor Alder he was done.

"Ok line up everyone." She handed them all Rotom Dexes. "Newest kind!" She informed them. The lights then started to flicker and tons of Rotoms flew out of the power outlets and into the dexes.
