Rules:

1.) All PH rules apply; just be
friendly towards one another.
2.) Do not try and kill off another user's character(s), unless they gave you permission.
3.) Also do not take anyone else's character to use as your own, as it will get confusing.
4.) Please follow the story and stay on track with it. Do not start trailing off on your own. If the story starts to drop, I'll most likely liven it up again myself. Just stay on topic.
5.) You do not have permission to post in the main RP thread unless you have been accepted by me.
6.) Use the form when making a new character. Refusal to use the form will lead to your request being ignored.
7.) ALL posts need to consist of at least two or more sentences. I don't like one-liners.
8.) Correct grammar is also necessary. Everyone needs to understand each thing that is being posted.
9.) Please only sign up here if you've read at least one of the books from the Warrior series. I want to make sure everyone understands what happens during the story.
10.) Remember, have fun! That's the point cx Hope you all enjoy

Dawn had just begun, the rays from the sun poured over the top of the peaks that surrounded SmokeClan's territory. Horizonstar was already awake, watching the sun rise. His tail was neatly folded over his front paws, his fur already neatly groomed. He was ready for another day. Soon, the cats of his clan would be flooding out of their dens into the clearing, sharing tongues with one another to start the day.
The leader's hazel eyes glanced around the open expanse of territory before him. It was all theirs. StarClan must have spared them for a good reason. He would let his clan thrive freely and they didn't have to worry about another clan's conflict. There would be enough prey to go around to feed his entire clan. Everything, he knew, was good.

With a stifled gasp, she narrowly avoided tripping over Rainpaw, who was curled in the entrance of the cave again. It meant only one thing, nightmares again.
Carefully Emberstream picked him up by the scruff of his neck as if he was a kit, and carried him to her sleeping place. There, she set him in her nest of bird down and moss, and went back to the front of her cave. Today, she was going to send Rainpaw out to get some herbs for her, while she checked on the queen(s)

The medium sized tom flexed his claws into the dirt below and stretched out his limbs before he started padding over to where the rest of the cats were.
Billowflame's long puffy tail had been curled securely around her eyes as she slept that night. Though, it blocked out the rays of the sun that were flooding into SmokeClan's camp. The shifting of bodies from the cats around her was the moment she realized it was time to get up. Both her ears twitched as she stretched out both of her legs as she lay still. Being on the first hunting patrol didn't really concern her, but she was almost sure that the leader would pick her to go this time, as she hadn't in the past yet.
The young female then got to her paws and made her way out of the Warrior Den, the rays of sunlight finally hitting her pelt, turning her pelt into a golden flare. From the clearing outside the den, she could spot her young apprentice, Dustpaw, making his way out of the Apprentice Den. Following close behind was a smaller figure with a silver pelt -- Stormpaw.
Stormpaw could feel a slight sense of cold seeping into his pelt as the other apprentices left the den. The young apprentice was slow at getting up each and every morning and he knew that he would probably have to pay for it once he became a warrior. Once the cold started setting in, that's when he awoke.
Crawling his way out of the den, he noticed that Dustpaw was sitting right outside.
"Want to see if we could catch the first hunting patrol of the day?" Stormpaw asked him, nudging the other male's ear with his snout. The tiredness had still not left him, so he was feeling a bit groggy. He flexed his claws and stretched out his legs.

Emberstream winced at that. She kept meaning to teach him, after all, medicine cats can't always get protection everywhere they go. Plus he itched to learn so much...

In the medicine cat's nest, Rainpaw rolled over. His paws twitched as he ran through a field, chasing a mouse. He leaped....and suddenly, his paw was gone again. Always gone, never a hunter. Weakling. He groaned and twitched, dreaming and dreaming. His peers, the other paws, laughing at him in private. Never finding his true name like a medicine cat should. Then, he he had a vision, Emberstream standing in front of Horizonstar. She asked for warriors to take him into the forest, and mentioned how talented he was.
Rainpaw's eyes snapped open. Emberstream...believed in him? He started prancing around the den happily, then paused. Perhaps if he looked to see what they were low on before she returned?
The young apprentice started looking in the stores eagerly, compiling a list in his mind of what they'd need.

Horizonstar dipped his head to the medicine cat's words, understanding. "Yes," the male began in his usual gruff voice, "Rainpaw is free to join with the other cats of this morning's hunting patrol. I think I'll possibly send out a couple extras so they can carry back enough prey and help Rainpaw out also. I sure hope your apprentice knows what we need."
Billowflame noticed Horizonstar's jet-black fur somewhat in the distance and she knew that he was ready to start picking cats for the first hunting patrol. Maybe I'll go fetch Dustpaw first. I'm sure he'd want to go this time. The female was almost reluctant on thinking that, as she didn't feel like going hunting this early in the day. But, her apprentice also needed more practice and it was her job as a warrior to supply that to hers.
She began to make her way over to the apprentice den, passing through the other familiar-colored pelts of her clanmates.
Stormpaw purred sleepily in amusement at Dustpaw's sudden nervousness. "Yes, I was talking to you. Do you want to, or no? We'd need to hurry so no other cat takes the spot before us."
And with that, the silver male began to groom down the patches of fur that he seemed to mess up while he had been asleep. Though, while he was doing that, a familiar voice made his ears flicker. Standing before both him and Dustpaw was another fellow apprentice, Echopaw. The male had been slightly jealous of her because their clan leader had chosen to mentor her.
"Hello, Echopaw," the young male mewed as he straightened out the last patch of fur on him.

Emberstream came up behind him gently. "You had a vision this morning?" she asked
Her young apprentice bounced "Yes! And its getting stronger!!! Are you sending me out with the hunting patrol ... by myself?" The young kitten was practically bouncing off the walls.
"Yes we are. Now a quick coverage of what we need. Borage leaves, parsley, chevril. If you can get a warrior to get it for you, honey is always good. Horsetail, poppy seeds, and juniper berries. Thats all we need today, and most of those are for the queens. I get the sense one of them may be having a difficult birth this year."
Rainpaw nodded, mentally memorizing the list. Then with a tiny leap of joy, he pranced off outside to join those on hunting patrol.

As she female was padding over to her apprentice, she heard her name being called by the clan leader. In response, she flicked her tail. Knew it, she thought silently.

Emberstream walked out of her cave and into the queens' den softly. She smiled as she looked at Nighttail. "And how is the pregnancy doing today? You should be fairly close, and you'll have some beautiful kits soon"
While Emberstream talked she was sniffing the air around the queen, trying to diagnose what was wrong. Quietly, she was hoping (
Emberstream didn't want to think of that, or about what would happen if the queen went savage towards the kittens. She'd seen it before in those that lost their mate, some kit would look just like their father....or similar enough.
