I actually see plenty of risks coming with this "Select all"-tool.
Not only the possibility to accidentally release Pokémon with an item, but what about shinies, mega-ables, or random Pokémon which were accidentally moved to this box?
Some users could tick the "Select all" box without checking the full box first - and they might release something very valuable. And personally I would tick every box individually rather than risking to select something which I don't want to select.

And I actually believe that there are browser extensions which can do this already...

This would be very helpful when moving a large number of pokemon from one box to another. I really do not like to release any pokemon, but that is just my personal preference.

I was just thinking about the same thing Riako stated. Why not just be able to tick the Pokemon individually, so you don't accidentally release one of the valuable Pokemon you have, or a Pokemon you didn't actually plan on releasing?

Maybe it could be like select all shinies if there are any in the box just to avoid releasing shinies and about rare pokemon it could be like select all pokemon of a certain species.

Couldn't there be a message that shows up when you press the button to release Pokemon? It would add the convenience of selecting all of the Pokemon, and get rid of the inconvenience of releasing a.)Pokemon who you didn't actually want to release, and/or b.)accidentally Mass-Releasing Pokemon or Pokemon you didn't want to release although you wanted to release the rest. It could serve as a thing where you're like "Oh, but first I need to unselect this Pokemon!" and then can release the rest.

Full support. I have put all my pokemons like this only inside ten-twelve boxes without thinking and am now thinking to arrange it but can't cause I am too lazy to select 1000s of pokemons.

Support! This isn't just for releasing, though, I recently expanded one of my boxes and had to move a lot of Pokemon from one box to another.

Plus, if people release valuable Pokémon or items, that's their fault. In fact, if the box had a shiny, then what difference would it make if it was accidentally released from the party or while in a storage box? I guess a warning would work though.

A pop-up for safety, which maybe enabled at the settings, while releasing many pokemons at a time? This would be fine, the pop-up could contain the selected pokemon's list also?

Title: how about...

How about when you are going to release someone, it asks for comfirmation. If there is a Legendary/Shiny/Mega, it goes though all of those. That should prevent slipups.
Help a brotha out please!

Maybe only the ability to mass move pokemon and not delete?

Ok, hello. OP here (:

With the new release of Pokemon retrieval, I figured I'd add an idea to the first post. Well, I guess not really an idea >>
With the new feature, you can get a Pokemon back that you accidentally released. Since this was a main concern for some users, I figure that it's probably a little eased?

For some extra little safety, a popup could be added stating if there's a shiny/mega/SM ticked before releasing a mass amount of Pokemon. Maybe a little sentence in the current popup. Something along the lines of "You have (Number here) shinies, (number here) megas ticked." could be added.

The data's already there somehow right? Maybe there could be a way for the program to detect how many shiny/shadow stars and mega bubbles there are in a box and if any are ticked. I'm not sure how it would recognize a Legendary/event since there's no indication of such (other than the party icon itself).
Idk how to code so I'm not sure if this is actually a difficult thing to code in :T

And items well, as stated in the OP, a Pokemon could just not get released if they're holding an item, or there could be a "Take all items" button as well, and instead of having to click (or select all) it just takes every item that was being held by Pokemon on that box.

Again, I'm no coder so I'm not sure how hard any of these would be to code (and if Riako would even want to do it :T), I'm just all for quality of life updates/suggestions.
