Recently, I had used an event pass, and hatched a shiny a few hours ago. I suppose I had a tab open from adopting an egg, because when I checked my party just now, I also have an egg from the event pass.

I guess this is because the tab reloaded when I reopened it?

Is it possible you used Event Points for that final egg?

No I'm rather certain I have never had enough event points for that.

You've never had 1200 Event Points [or a Voucher]?
They add up more quickly than you realize, if you never spend them.

Boxes, Treasure Hunt, Contests,. . . There are a lot of ways to get points.

Yes but I never really did most of those a lot? And I believe, even if I did, would I not need to select the 2014 tab and pick a Valenfloon to buy it? I don't recall doing that, so, yea 😅

Also now that I think about it I have bought something in the event shop once or twice (vouchers, I believe) but I definitely did not buy this one like that.

Well, that's what I'm asking.
Is it possible that clicking the 'Claim' link after already getting the shiny, acted as if you clicked the specific egg?

So, no, you wouldn't have had to go all the way to tab 2014. The site would just think you did and give you the egg ^^'

I have no way of being certain about that. I don't recall having that many event points recently, but I can't be sure of that, I'm afraid.
